After somehow Ezra was stigmatised as "Rebels Lux" i felt bad for him. I mean Lux was dumbass since start and he was annoying ungrateful traitorous little brat for most of time, so it's not to hard to see why he was hated, but Ezra? He had great start and was interesting street rat space Aladdin, in first movie/big episode he was agile cunning Han Solo type of character who'd easily take risk in hope of profit (except he wasn't old smuggler but lonely kid trying to survive). Sadly instead of slowly transforming him into righteous terrorist rebel he was 100% pure gold hearthed right on the second episode (warning Crew on first episode was ok and logical - if he wouldn't do that Hera would probably go, or he would have to face judging look of space mom for long time, also he couldn't fly away on ghost himself because he's terrible pilot). He had some "flashbacks" of his old himself from first episode (in hondo episodes, on rescuing sato, sometimes randomly in other ones), but he changed his mindset faster than RotJ Anakin, and they are making him overly good and naive losing his street rat character potential. He is still good and easily likeable character for me but they wasted so much potential turning him 100% lawful good in timeskip between first and second episode. I really hope he won't end up alone and/or die inquisitor style ("I've got this" 1s later "uh, no I clearly don't" 1s later *dying intensifies*). Since they will probably go with Ketsu & Sabine, maybe they will introduce some other female character, I mean Ezra is teenager, him hitting on every single girl would be what male's his age'd do if they'd have some confidence. But that's only when there will be absolutely no chance to seduce Sabine. He can give up only after mindtrick, chocolates and "I'll show you the world" will fail.

But coming back to possible season 3 plot - I have only slight idea what Dave is up to. The only sure thing is trying to turn some mandos or wreck some of their asse(t)s (Fen rau imprisoned, promise of more Sabine), obviously Maul will be plotting something, 90% chance for Thrawn, other than I can't say anything for sure. Oh wait i forgot about the most important plot. Finding that damned fuel and maybe some legit cheap source of it instead of terrorising some random dudes doing their job and minding their own business.
Possible good idea for early episode is Ezra looking for crystal to build new light saber on black market - perfect opportunity to unleash some bounty hunters on him and let him show what power he gained from Sith holocron. Also with slightly unlucky turn of events he can enrage Hutt people, and all that in first five minutes.
Not to mention we still need someone to lose hand/arm to light saber otherwise it's not SW. But it have to be done before show will end so maybe not on season 3.

And 100% offtopic - just watched few moments from first episode of TCW, droids are referring to Ventress as supreme leader, not to mention her look with few saber liftings would totally fit the one that Snoke has. If we ignore the genderbending or explain "his" voice with some burned voice strings I think she would be quite legit Snoke

 

Don't you guys know shipping are srs bsns . But, to be fair it's not worst than what I've seen in other fandoms.

Ok, I don't particularly have an issue with Ezrabine really...I just find it really difficult to ship Sabine with any character, both Ezra and Ketsu. She has clearly shown no interest in Ezra and rolls her eyes at him with every one of his attempts to woo her, and Ketsu left her for dead which is pretty serious so that throws Sabestsu out the window.

My absolute theory is that the Owl represents the Mortis Daughter.

 

It's the most common theory. Owl leaves Ahsoka after death and she now watches over Anakin.

 

Maybe it belongs to Bo-Katan, she sends out her Owls,lol.

But I always pretty sure Mortis was always gonna be important.
