Full Series Ahsoka in Rebels

Discussion in 'Star Wars TV- Completed Shows' started by Darth Valkyrus, Nov 6, 2013.

?

What should Ahsoka be like if she turns up in Rebels?

  1. Like she was before the S3 timeskip. Snippy, impulsive, petulant, a little over-agressive

  2. Like she was post-timeskip: Mature for her age, insightful, reserved, able to mentor others

  3. Radically grimdarkened, fatalistic, sarcastic, determinist, but still essentially a good guy.

Yeah, it seemed the events on Malachor is the reverse of what happened on Mortis. In Mortis, it was Ahsoka that turned to the darkside while in the finale it was Vader and like you said instead of saving her like in Mortis Vader "killed" her. Another guess is that with all the similarities with Gandalf, the explosion could have affected her and she has some kind of "transformation" into something different, not really fond of that theory but you never know I guess.

She could have turned to the darkside because she said she would never leave him. So it's not like she tried to turn him to the light, she was ready to die with him when the Temple exploded. Maybe she wants more knowledge into what Anakin had become and thinks the Temple will give it to her. Half the season she spent searching for more answers and maybe now that she knows what Anakin has become she wants more answers on how to get through to him.

    Or she could be dead.

Ahsoka turning to the Dark Side is largely out've the question. She wanted to see if she could maybe save Anakin or avenge him, which neither really was the Jedi way. When Jedi turned dark on TCW they're first move was to destroy it. Only a few like Kenobi and Yoda really held out for Vos, and were lenient and understanding to Ventress. The Daughter of Mortis was very aggressive and war like herself, but also very angelic, and both her and her brother had to be tamed and controlled otherwise they'd be chaos . Ahsoka on Rebels they went out of their way to make her some kinda elite holy warrior, but just not quite a Jedi Knight, I believe she was even described as a "ronin" and "Gandalf". Gandalf is like Messianic and bears some similarity to Jesus. Ahsoka died and was resurrected don't forget.

With the Daughter of Mortis I get the impression more of Nike, the Son being Kratos and the Father being Zeus. Lucas liked jumbling around mythologies and religions and all of that kinda thing.

Yeah that was quite an interesting interview. Due to my own personal greed I hope there is a Luke stand alone novel that shows him going to Malachor and actually finding Ahsoka. If in fact it turns out she is trapped there? The more and more I think about it, the more I think a meeting of Luke and Ahsoka is inevitable.

At least I am holding out hope for this to happen.

How would she be trapped there? Did the temple collapse in such a way as to separate her and Vader, leaving Vader a way out while trapping Ahsoka?

And if that be the case... wouldn't she starve to death?

Shouldn't Maul have starved? He was apparently stuck on Malachor for a long time.

I was thinking more along the lines of her spirit being trapped there. If that is even possible?

Maybe she can't get out/be free unless she finds the knowledge she is seeking?

    Hi iPodwithnomisic,

you are right, I meant the Siege-of-Mandalore-arc. Eventually with the Pykes-Underworld-arc (Ahsoka without Maul} before. But between is the Son-of-Dathomir-arc featuring Maul without Ahsoka. So this would be at least three hours film-material.

And I'm already happy when they would do that in cartoon-animated style like in TCW just for DVD or blu-ray. I'm not expecting it on cinema-screen with real actors. But Ray Park would be happy to play Maul again - for sure. :D

And I bet, Disney could make more money with a real actor's movie. It is just depending how you present something to the audience. A movie represents great value and is such taken by people as something great and more accepted and venered. While cartoons or more refined animated screen has a touch ob being cheap and maybe that is, why so many OT or PT-followers reject TCW or Rebels. Otherwise they would go for it would it be shown 3D in the movie-theaters. I'm sure!

And if Chewbacca would have appeared only in TCW - many people would just yawn. It's all about convincing presentation and seduction, i.e. manipulation.

So Disney, please take your money out and give, what we deserve!

I remember when they showed the teaser in advance of the final season arc of TCW's Season 3, with Chewie. I like that they gave him even a day to spend with Anakin's Padawan.

Well Ahsoka was written off in season 5 of TCW, yet she was due back in season 7 I think and was to have played a good sized role in the latter seasons that would lead into ROTS as well as be the star of the TCW spinoff series that was a continuation of ROTS. Filoni also added her in season 6 and she was talked about as well. I'm not wholly convinced she wont make another appearence in Rebels in Season 4 or something.

Well in fairness, the brief image of her in Season 6 was only Yoda's imagination; along the lines of seeing Dooku conversing with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon outside the Jedi Temple.

In the very unlikely event I figured spoilering the below in case someone hasn't seen the end of season 2 of Star Wars Rebels?

Given the Daughter healed Ahsoka its entirely possible what we saw was the Daughter walking back inside after all the Daughter died healing Ahsoka it wouldn't stretch much that she granted her the ability to become a force ghost through virtue of her being bonded with the spirit of the Daughter?

Ahsoka is essentially the Daughter, while Maul is the Son - Ezra could be a replacement for Anakin.

If you think about it, Ahsoka may have had the essence of both the Son and the Daughter:

    Poisoned by the Son
    [IMG]

And of course redeemed by the Daughter

I've always believed that. People keep bringing up that since she was revived by the Daughter she may be "linked" to her but it's like everybody forgot she was "poisoned" by the Son and was his puppet for a while ; as evidenced when Ahsoka sees Obi-Wan wielding the sword she yells "Gives it to ME!", at this moment both her and the Son's voice can be heard at the same time.

I liked the concept but I didn't like the portrayal. A little too Haley Quinn-ey for my taste. Not really how I imagined Dark Ahsoka.

The Harley Quinn persona was only brief. As soon as she saw the knife in Kenobi's hands, she went into killer mode.

Yeah, Ahsoka falling to the darkside seems very unlikely now. She lives by her own morals, that doesn't make her necessarily dark.

Well it could be that the daughter kept the Son at bay until the temple. The Daughter's spirit could be gone and Ahsoka could be back as Dark Ahsoka with the Son taking over her again.
