it's everybody's birthday today, apparently. i had to congratulate four people on facebook today. and i only congratulate those i have to

 

So I've had this scratchy throat for the past 5 hours that hasn't really gotten worse but oh **** it's probably a summer cold and I hate summer colds and that makes me sad and mad but thank goodness I fight colds and other illnesses fairly damn fast but I'm still mad about the summer cold thing.

 

it's ok to sleep 15 hours when you're sick though

I might have the flu. I hit 100 degrees after taking Dayquil...

 

Still not over my cold(?) I got my last day in NY. Never had a fever, just lots of snot.

I'm glad it's the weekend. My plan is to do nothing because we've been traveling all week. Just driving home now (not me, I'm posting from the passenger seat).

And I feel ya, sick besties. I was sick for a while but now I just have this awful barking cough that I can't shake. I feel fine other than my throat is a little irritated, which leads to the coughing, which makes my throat worse, which leads to more coughing.....It's driving me kind of insane.

just one hung over shift at work left, and then i've got two weeks off!

i've got two cabin trips planned. a long weekend with friends first, and then a week with my brother, his gf and some other people where we're gonna scuba dive all week. can't wait.

it isss. i'm finally buying my own gear tomorrow, so i expect i'll be diving much more in the future than what i've done so far since getting the certificate
