ST There's a little black spot on the sun (Luke's death scene)

I thought it could have been a spaceship... and then after a few seconds i guessed it probably was just a fly in the cinema at my first viewing.
On second viewing, i just had confirmation: when Luke watches the final sunset you can clearly see a little black spot in the bigger sun. Anyone else noticed it? Should we speculate on this?

It will be on the commentary for the Blu-Ray. "We know what people like about Star Wars, so we dropped the mythology and put lots of self-references in make people feel good. Our favourite is the Porg in Luke's death scene. It's in the Twin Suns if you look closely enough. It's our 'potato in the asteroid field'."

 

I noticed it too, not sure if it means anything. I've only seen TLJ once so far.

it could have been a puffin. They were flying all over the place in the end scene of TFA if you look for them.

 

It was a flock of Porgs.

yes, I have noticed that too, and it bugs me every time. It looks like a helicopter or something... you think they would notice something like that but apparently not.

I thought it was a ship flying towards him on the first viewing. I believe it’s just a darker part of a cloud.

 

Skellig Michael is a bird sanctuary. It was probably just a bird that got caught on film.

Yeah, on 1st viewing I thought it was the Falcon, but after I'm assuming it's a porg.

 

Errors are bound to happen with 100% practical photography and effects.

Sunspot, and they are visible with telescopes or photographic equipment equiped with adequate filters.

On few occasions, they are visible to the naked eye, which of course is something you should never try to do.

 

I thought it was a ship coming in with someone in it that would lead into the continuation for Episode 9. But then that didn't happen and Luke died.
