Only one TV at the moment, so it's one thing or the other.

Well, are you feeling Passive or Active then? Whichever one you feel more for will determine the fate of your TV.

If it was me, I'd watch Fellowship, not a big Batman fan (Darkslayer will crucify me later :p). Can't help anymore than that.

Seriously whenever I look at the dislike to like ratio on youtube rewind it makes me laugh. Almost makes up for the 8 minutes.

I guess it is too late to play games. Plus, I still have the whole LOTR trilogy to work through once again.

And don't worry about @Darkslayer, WORRY ABOUT ME.

I'd say Arkham Asylum, but you have to wait 20 minutes before actually playing the game waiting for the joker to break out of the gurney :p

Know your suits, JKF. A man must always know his suits. Never bring an old or untested rifle into battle, nor an unfitted or outdated suit to a formal occasion.

Sorry to hear about what you are going through PJ! We are all here for you though, sending lots of hugs! [:D]

I am not too bad, very busy though! Got a 5,000 report to write, so am grinding to get that mostly done before tomorrow (Which is unlikely, as I have only done 1,000 so far!)

I watched the rewind video @Jedi Knight Fett, was not a fan, but I did not give it a thumbs down, I never do the rating thing on YT. Was quite cringey though, 8 mins of my life wasted! [face_laugh]

Damn, I might have to switch to the extended DVD for The Fellowship of the Ring because I keep forgetting the extended Blu-ray has this annoying teal tint over the whole film. It's far too excessive and the following two films have their original color grades anyways so why change this one?!

EDIT: Switched to the DVD and it looks much better color and lighting wise. The dark green tint on the extended blu-ray caused dark scenes to look way too dark. I had just watched the scene with Bilbo searching for the ring in full daylight while inside his home, but he nearly looked like a black shadow.

Here's to hoping a future 4K release uses the original look of the film and does away with the dark teal tint.

    What's the subject?

Have you tried compensating with your TV/color settings, or is your set too limited in its options? I can do quite a bit with mine. I can't say it ever bothered me all the much, however; noticeable and not particularly desirable, but never a deal-breaker. Still, I understand where you're coming from. Hopefully, when the trilogy eventually makes its way to 4K, said installment will be course corrected.

I've spent far too much time calibrating my TV to be the way I like it to change the settings for one film.

Stuff like this never used to bother me until I started researching film-making in general. I don't think the change with bother me so much if it didn't make the entire film darker, thus losing a ton of shadow detail. I will just have to stick with my DVD for The Fellowship of the Ring and use the Blu-rays for The Two Towers and The Return of the King.

Well, good luck in your endeavor. Myself, I could never blend an inferior DVD viewing with that of a high-def for any set of films, cyan mayhem or no. But that's just me.

I only ever use the 'Thumbs Up' on Youtube to mark certain videos to save them for later in the Liked Videos list, if they're single vids from channels I'm otherwise not subscribed to.

Please, what is this "Youtube" thou doth speak of? Is it one of those local public access channels at the tail-end of your cable box?

Because 50 through 53 are usually the scrambled porn channels (Google it, kids).
