As we hover on the precipice of the knighting of two of our own, I have requested my apprentice Vallanthe, as a bit of a unique training assignment, to serve as the 'Hostess of Festivities' for the after-party, to which she honorably agreed.

Those who wish to offer their services to assist may contact her at their convenience. Music, refreshments and whimsical displays of Jedi merriment are to be expected.

Location: Saridona Prime, Jedi Temple
Event: Knighting Ceremony for Voss Fulris and Kev-Mas Colcha III

In the cool, winter air of Saridona Prime, the sun shown through the clouds on a spectacular day. Out beyond the courtyards, mist rose from the lakes, breaking the winter freeze, and hastening the arrival of spring. As if to punctuate this moment frozen in time, the Jedi, strong in number, could be witnessed gathering in the courtyards of the Jedi Temple, awaiting the very moment in which two of their own would be thrust into the duties of knighthood.

Small in importance this momentous occasion indeed was not. For on this winter day, two padawans would enter the Grand Convocation Hall of the Temple of Light as jedi padawans and leave as jedi knights. In the courtyard, stories were shared to reminisce the Jedi Order's history and prepare for new challenges yet to come. Two youngling initiate arrivals could be spotted engaging in a duel with training sabers despite admonishments from the Jedi Council.


Voss Fulris and Kev-Mas Colcha entered the Grand Convocation Hall of the Temple of Light, whose name was well-merited on this occasion. The sun's setting rays slanted through the many-paned tall windows, reflecting off the highly-sheened surfaces. The two soon-to-be-Knighted Padawans felt ripples of anticipation, as they gazed up to the dais where the Masters/Council Members were awaiting them, and thence around to the spectator stands catching the smiles and nods of their fellow trainees and other Knights.

Familiar faces of Jedi Knights and Padawans, alike, appeared among those gathered. Knight Peregrine Bonaventure looked onwards, as did Knight Cinali. Titus Fenton, Irishi Kenobiwan, Liuna Lotasi, Tython, Iteote Roslagen, and Varian Aldor stood there as well, among others. Padawans Viva Raine, the Ryn Padawan Sanchari, Khalia Octa, Ava G., TeamHanSolo, and Rosana Zorbo were among those gathered.

Among those seated on the stage included the Ongree Jedi, Semajj Nosrep and Kubaz Master Hochner Trevalus. As another surprise to befall the Order on this very day, a robed figure appeared from afar. Soon, walking closer, the robed figure appeared to be none other than founding member @Teegirloo

In synchronization, Jedi Master Trevalus, now standing, and Jedi Master Nosrep set their blades above the right shoulder of their Padawan before them, as Master Tehanis began the traditional chant. “By the Right of the Council, by will of the Force, I dub thee...” With the Masters' lightsabers raised in formal salute, both cut through their respective Padawan's braid in synchrony. “...Knights of the Guardians of Light.”


Just as Master Adalia finished the final syllable of the chant, the darkness that had invaded the Grand Hall up until that point disintegrated, as the Beacon of Light was activated, signaling the elevation of the new Jedi Knights.



Each blade was extinguished, and Master Chetan stepped forward, indicating for the new Knights to stand, “I present to you Knight Voss Fulris & Kev-Mas Colcha. Rise, and join the fight to guard the light!”

The ceremony concluded with resounding applause from the balconies above. Celebrants gathered to offer congratulations and spilled over to the long banquet tables on the eastern side of the Hall as well as in the courtyards, sampling the platters of decadent snacks and munchy treats as well as steaming hot beverages. Laughter and jocularity filled the air, as did a pervasive sense of serenity and accomplishment.

Congratulations on attaining the rank of Jedi Knight my former padawan @Voss Fulris - you are destined for great things and I hope that we will be able to work together again in the future *bows deeply in respect and then clasps your shoulder in a friendly gesture*

And now, shall we go and celebrate Voss?

 

Well I guess my signature needs updating now, doesn't it?

Without further ado, I shall unveil said changes, and reveal my class of choice: Jedi Shadow, a specialization of Jedi Sentinel.

For some reason Pada-Knight Colcha, I am not surprised. LOL

Congratulations Knight Colcha! An honour to be knighted with you. It is also my ambition to become a Jedi Shadow, and I hope to develop in this area now I'm a knight. Maybe I'll come across you on a mission some day.

 

Woot time. How incredibly fascinating, two Shadows in the Guardian Ranks.

 

You know me too well, Master. It was an honor to serve under you and I hope to pass down your lessons to another within time.

Thank you, and congratulations to you as well. Perhaps we might even be assigned a mission together one day as well.

I suppose that it's become necessary now with the looming presence of the Dark Side coming closer than it ever has before. Together we shall drive it back, by vanquishing our foes or even better yet, converting them.
