I am reading the September/October 2001 issue of Star Wars Insider. I'm getting psyched for Episode II.

Seriously though, there are a lot of spoilers in this mag. Life was simpler back in 2001. If someone leaked these spoilers nowadays about Episode IX, many Bothans would die.

 

Dags, did you hear about them having Hayden Christensen play Anakin? Between this and the sequel to Rogue One, I can't wait!

 

Dunno, not seen a preview and even if I did probably wouldn't go....i'm way behind on Marvel last one I saw was Iron Man 2

I just spent like two hours reading the "...so the 2020 US Presidential Election campaign season has begun..." thread, thinking I was in Star Wars Community, and I was like, whoah, SWC got real political, and also very left wing, and where did the silly games and stuff go and I then I looked at the header, and I was like, oh damn, I've been in JC Community this whole time (and I do my best to avoid Community and any political thread on the JCF)

@Huttese 101 you must be brave for surviving in the JCC so for long, I had to leave after a couple days of going in there for like 10 minutes

 

Ehh certainly not how I would prefer to spend a Sunday evening, but I did it to myself. Still better than most of Reddit. Or even Twitter for that matter. At least JCCers are articulate.

WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS YET

 

Catching up from a few pages back...

I feel oddly, cosmically jipped with Into the Spiderverse. I recognize how it's a visually/conceptually inspired work of pop-art, not dissimilar to, say, The Incredibles or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The problem is, I just don't care about Spider-Man. At all. Never have. So I was mostly just sitting there in the theater, objectively noting high marks to the craft, but then forgetting most of the movie 15 minutes after it was over.

Also, the mesh-misfire that is Venom is only about 8 times superior to Black Panther.
Also, Captain Marvel looks empty, but I'll be seeing it anyways to afford a proper critical take.

It’s pretty cheap to you can get it for less than 3 dollars USD on YouTube.

It’s a hilarious film definitely worth the watch. Also one of the cheesiest films, but it is Steve Irwin being a parody of himself. So what is not to love.

 

It is now my number one movie priority

Huttese, do you know if/where Arkansas is projected to get snow? I still can't pull up any weather forecast and you would know more about Arkansas weather than anyone else here
