@s_heffley, I literally just had Spaghetti for tea, the struggle to get it on the fork is real

That reminded me of a scene in an episode of Thunderbirds from 1966, where the lower-class manservant Parker is confronted with a plate of Spaghetti and has no idea how to eat. It struck me that the meal was seen as something weird and exotic back then, was a strangely dated moment that showed the episode was 'of its time'.

That sparked a discussion about the kinds of foods my Parents knew from their childhoods, and how neither of them had spaghetti until they were adults in the 80's, so I guess that episode of TB was accurate

 

Also, the lack of posts in this thread reminds me of this scene from Finding Nemo:

 

I don't think I've ever sat through Finding Nemo in its entirety. Just bits here and there in passing.

Thank the ******* Porgmaker my dentist visit is over. A cleaning and 3 fillings. I've been dreading it all week. I hate having people's hands in my mouth. It took all my restraint not to pull a Sméagol/Frodo and bite her nasty fingers off Precious. Actually it wasn't too bad. Is Dark Souls 2 any good? I saw it on 360 for 3 dollars. I got Tennison, a BBC Prime Suspect prequel miniseries. I really like Prime Suspect so this should be good. I also got the first Purge.

 

All I've heard about the Dark Souls games (and Bloodborne) are that they're insanely hard, so good luck

He does have a love of bad puns after all (his favourites being 'we're in the dead center' whenever we pass a graveyard, 'pass water' whenever we're near a body of water, or 'up the back passage' whenever we go up a side alley)

Chapter 2.

An alright chapter, pretty creative monster, from the show it reminds me of how Mabel defeated Bill in Dippers body, and his power somewhat reminded me of the ghost couple from the convenience store episode.

Like the mention of the Shimmer, nice bit of continuity. Mabels interest in girls came a little out of nowhere, but it works, and I'm sure will be expanded upon more in the future.

Mabel was written well, and "She’d come here to exercise, not exorcise!" was a fun line.

Not that much to add, solid chapter.

chapter 3

Another decent chapter, Mabel did come across as a little pushy, but not cruel, just wanted to help in her own way.

The creature was neat, though it was a little bit strange that Ford knew how to summon the Intelli-spore, and to not let it get i hands on too much knowledge. Still nice to get a mention from both Fords.

Pacifica buying Dipper stuff in exchange for helping her with school was cute.

Not that much to add, just a pretty solid chapter. Characterization is still good all around.

So yeah, those are my thoughts on chapter 2 and 3, will do chapter 4-8 tomorrow.

And please remind me, i forgot which chapter OOM-9 has a cameo in, please tell me, cause its the best chapter by default
