In the Phantom Menace after Maul was Killed that confirms for the Jedi that the Sith are back. Yoda also says " Only two there are no more no less" Which implies that Yoda knows of the rule of two. We can then confirms that the Jedi know that there is another Sith out there. Later in Attack of the clones Dooku Says that Sidious is in the control of the senate. Did the Jedi Investigate during any of that time?

Yes, they did. But the galaxy is a big place. They first started off on Moraband, the Sith home world and visited other places where the Sith were known to congregate. They found no evidence of them being there currently.

OBI-WAN: Do you believe what Count Dooku said...about Sidious controlling the Senate? It doesn't feel right.

YODA: Joined the dark side Dooku has. Mmm. Lies, deceit...creating mistrust are his ways now.

MACE WINDU: Nevertheless, I feel we should keep a closer eye on the Senate.

    YODA: I agree.

They plastered a bunch of notices on the bulletin board in the Senate lobby asking if anyone knew about a secret Sith plot to undermine the democratic fabric of the Republic and, if they did, to please come forward--but, shockingly, nothing came of it.

Yes they did, at least in the EU/Legends continuity. In the novel "Labyrinth of Evil", which takes place immediately before RotS, the Jedi are on Sidious's trail prior to the attack on Coruscant (IIRC, that's what prompts Sidious to order the attack. I could be wrong though.). The book is even lightly referenced in the film itself a few times (such as when Anakin says something like "he's the Sith Lord we've been looking for"). The novel is based on notes directly from George Lucas from when he was writing RotS (so was the RotS novelization, which I think also references the Jedi looking for Sidious).

We start to see a bit of the Jedi looking for Sidous on the Clone Wars. My guess if the series when on we'd off seen more of that. That Sith Temple under the Jedi Temple story line might of had them almost directly facing off against the Dark Lord.

Obi-Wan says "Palpatine is the Sith Lord we've been looking for", and Anakin says "*You're* the Sith Lord".

Clearly there was an ongoing investigation.

Between the Battle of Naboo and Geonosis:

It's not clear how Yoda knew about the Rule of Two, but it was clear that somebody had trained Maul, someone probably still out there. However, the yet-unnamed Sith Master could have been hiding in a back alley on Tatooine, or dressed in the robes of a Senate guard.

There were no leads until Dooku half-truthed to Obi-Wan on Geonosis. While Dooku was certainly not trustworthy, he had given the Jedi two pieces of potentially key information: the Sith Lord's name and where he was hiding. The fact that Dooku used the dark side while fighting Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda only further suggested that he is familiar with a Sith Lord, almost definitely the same one that that trained Maul.
After Geonosis and throughout the Clone Wars, there was indeed an investigation regarding Darth Sidious' identity and whereabouts. While this is explored in depth in TCW and in Legends, the canon ROTS discusses the ongoing search for the phantom menace that is Sidious.

They were arrogant, and overconfident. They were blinded by their own arrogance, and that also helped Sidious to cloud the vision of the Jedi as well.

I would not say that there were no leads after TPM.
The Jedi know that Nute and the TF worked with the Sith so they would likely have useful information.
Did the Jedi ever pursue this? Did they try and question Nute or that other TF guy about their connection to the sith?
Maul's ship, that would likely be on Naboo. If the Jedi gets their hands on that then they could find out stuff. Like his recent flight plan, Coruscant to Tatooine.
If they can find out where it was made/sold and maybe who bought it, that might tell them something.
Communication records, if those exist, might be useful. Sidious talked to Nute while the latter was in the Naboo palace. If the comm equipment keeps any records then the Jedi might be able to see that Nute talked to someone on Coruscant.

If they found Maul's body, yes I know EU and Solo had him survive, but going with just TPM here.
They might be able to get a confirmed ID. If Maul was born on a planet inside the republic, there could be a record of him. The Jedi could go to his former home and dig around.

So the Jedi did have no leads and ten years before the war broke out. Did they do much?

    Bye for now.

They're aware of the existence of Darth Sidious, because those lines are from when they realize who Palpatine really is. But note that Anakin spying on Palpatine was to see if he was corrupt or in league with Sidious.

Man, that book got me so incredibly hyped for ROTS. And then...sigh...
