Whoa I love that design. Hangarspace, yay!

What presentation is this from? Which event? More new shots?

I so need modded stats for it being a battlecruiser of corellian make! FFG please do it!

Will FFG ever do a model of that beauty? Or other companies toy models of it for GE? Hope not only as exclusives then!

From below it looks like a Stardestroyer married to a Pelta-class front. Given Kuat stole some Corellian ideas under the Empire, and forced CEC to build Kuati ships in corellian yards I wonder if Corellia returned the favor in kind and stole some Kuati influences for their new ships post Endor.

Makes me wonder, how old an MPO-1400 is, new or old or Prequel era too already? We do not know yet sadly, right?

Galaxy's Edge is set in the New Republic era, so I reckon the MPO-1400 is a relatively modern design. Its length of 280 meters puts a potential warship variant squarely within the light cruiser category. I do agree, it looks a lot larger than it actually is.

With a lenght of 280 meters, isn't that hangar space a bit too small?

Might just carry something like a squadron and a couple shuttles.

It’s a cruise ship, not a capital ship, after all. I’d imagine you just take the local shuttle up from the planet’s surface to that hangar.

Corellian frighter i designed as comission. It has corellian traditional modular design, very fast and have 2 twin lazer cannons for protection. I imagine it in the New republic era.It was comissioned by corellian self deffence ministry to become a uttility transport vessel with different modifications.

I suppose you're right about the passenger/cargo shuttles, and I guess having them dock in a Tantive-IV styled way would surely be more efficient (and less space consuming) than actually landing them inside. Still I'd say the various lateral docking rings would be even better for this use, so perhaps the ventral hangar is reserved for cargo.

Concept art for the Hotel showed tube-like transports carrying people to and from the ship, hidden inside highly modded busses. So do these support vessels come with the ship? Not every world has them, and Baatu is not a tourist equipped port. They were docked to the external docking hatches as per several concept arts! So the Hangar is indeed cargo I suspect or high level elite passengers.

If only it got a cameo in Episode IX. The Sequels need such ship updates, not reinvoke the old times.

i've been saying this, but it is literally impossible for for the new republic navy to be completely destroyed. there were probably at least hundreds of space stations and other types of bases throughout the galaxy. not to mention the various academies.

I'm pretty sure the novelization of TLJ mentions that the remaining NR ships were divided and taken by different systems to help better defend their territories against the First Order.

Interesting how much larger the T-85 is compared to its predecessors... It's basically a complete redesign of the X-wing airframe rather than a minor facelift.[IMG]

I wish the new Y-Wing would get a reasonable background, like being a modernised version meant to be cheaply sold to private defense fleets rather than the New Republic Navy. As modernised as it might be, the Y-Wing is still an old design.
Also, it's worth noting that there's no new B-Wing in the chart, so the ones we see in IX might be the old models.

Wow.... according to that chart I got the size of the T-85 EXACTLY right.

    It is about 15.3m long

I hate how increasingly "stripped down" the Y-wing is getting; damn thing looks like it'll fall apart when someone sneezes on it. A complete redesign a la T-85 would have looked great.

Did we not actually get a picture of the new Resistance Y-Wing recently besides this image from the new book? I could have sworn that we did but I can't find it anywhere.

There was a Lego set leak.

It's also on the marketing poster.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. The engine exausts remind me more of the TCW Y-Wings than the OT Y-Wings.
