I've been keeping an eye on a Clone Wars character contest that the official Star Wars site has been running for the past couple of weeks (https://www.starwars.com/news/poll-favorite-star-wars-the-clone-wars-character). I was delighted to see that our top four (Ahsoka/Maul/Anakin/Rex) matched their top four for a while (Maul has since slipped into fifth place on starwars.com).

Ahsoka is the winner in both contests but for the runner ups, it looks like JCF has a diametrically opposed ranking. We have Maul in second, Anakin in (trending) third, Rex in (trending) fourth. On the starwars.com poll, it's the reverse - Rex is favored over Anakin who is favored over Maul.

 

That’s pretty cool! Guess that just means our results here are definitely accurate.

Also, go Ahsoka to winning both!

9-6, I just saw that we were doing this. Here's the enthusiastic post I had before I realized it was over, should have broadcast it more!

The character who was the most benefited by their appearance in Clone Wars. Gave them so much development, turned them from an almost wannabe character into one of the deepest in the entire franchise. We'll see them get a huge moment in the finale. They were the highlight of the trailer and all the marketing so far. They are a fan favorite, and the highest rated episode of the show is one that they star in. Also the clear choice due to sheer coolness factor.

There is only one answer, one vision - and that answer is Maul!



I don't really care who wins third place, but I'll vote Anakin.

I voted for Ahsoka (and would again) but you make a good case for Maul. Can't really argue with any of it.

I wanna say a huge thank you to everyone who participated! This went on way longer than I anticipated, but it ended strongly. I look forward to seeing you all again in the next contests. I currently have a planet popularity contest going in the community, and I'll start up a sequel trilogy character contest some time today.

I knew Maul would never beat Ahsoka, so I'm content with second place. Congrats to Lady Tano.

 

Are we even allowed games in the ST boards?

@A Chorus of Disapproval / @Darth Chiznuk - tagging a couple of ST mods to ask if one of these contests can be posted over there.

 

They have the ST trivia so I would assume so.

 

Let's be real, if we put this in the main forum, Ahsoka would not win. I love her, but she wouldn't beat the movie characters.

 

She actually came 4th when facing all of the canon characters, and 2nd when facing all of the Jedi, which is super impressive.

 

Even more so since here she faces more opposition
