Almec has to be in his 70's but put up a decent fight knowing he was to be captured and possibly killed against Bo-Katan and actual combatants. He received some training along with his armor.

I'm 33, and I'm getting quite grey at the temples. A friend of mine was completely grey at 25. Another completely bald at 24. Greying a bit at 38 is not weird.

    9/10

It'd be a 10 if it wasn't for how silly and forced it played that Obi-wan flipped so easily on his "But .. but ... but 100 year-old treaties!!!" thing.

Yep, same here. I’m 34 and the grey is starting to show quite a bit. Anyway, it looks awesome on Obi-Wan so who cares how old he is.

Straight 10. This is as close to perfect as TCW has ever been. Sucks it's another whole week for the next one.

I gave this a 10 as well. One of, if not the best episode of the entire series. I kind of wish this arc had been released as a feature film - the quality is there in both writing and production, unlike the actual TCW movie.

Not to mention that some people go gray in their 20s...

Aside from much of the bounty hunter arc (some of the stuff with Cad Bane is just unbeatable), I think this is one of the best TCW episodes. 9/10.

Now this is podracing! What a phenomenal episode, though I must admit I'm a little let down they're completely handwaving Bo Katan's many crimes away, I knew it'd happen but it's still annoying. She was an absolute badass this episode though, everyone looked so damn good, I loved Almec's prime minister armor set. And there was enough Skyguy to make me happy

Clone Wars is back and I'm so thankful it's going out with a bang, I was starting to get worried after I didn't really enjoy any of the first 8.

I watched ROTS immediately after the episode and it worked as a good lead in, going to quit all SW social media until May 4th so I can watch the rest of the arc all at once and go in blind.

I rather say he's in his early to middle of his 60's. He probaly was once a true mandalorian right before Satine came to power and left his armor at his home and legacy. I bet he secretly wanted her gone and return to the old ways.

I think the voice actor is in his 70's and he always sounded and appeared like someone in their late 60's to early 70's. Almec was just a corrupt New Mandalorian, and the New Mandalorian armor was different from what Death Watch wore since they style themselves after ancient Mandalorian warriors. Maybe Almec had a family set of armor, but the fact his he had some training to go with, to earn the right to wear it.

Wow, I didn't realize until now but you're right. Rey's theme also played when Ahsoka walked into the room with the clones wearing Ahsoka themed helmet. They're really going all out with the soundtack season, with across the stars, and the bad batch arc being a remix of March of the Resistance.

I wonder if Rey's theme is a hint of maybe an eldery Ahsoka meeting with young Rey. Just a thought.

God, if you'd have told me TCW could look and be this good in 2008, I'd have called you insane. We have come a long way since then for sure, and now I just can't wait to see what else they have in store. :D

I certainly never would have believed the show would look and feel like this when I started season 1 purely out of boredom all those years ago. I never would have thought I'd love OCs Rex and Ahsoka as I do, or that I'd have such an appreciation for Anakin. From feeling like a 90s kids show wrapped in CGI this show evolved into a top contender for best western animated series. It was unfortunate when it met the fate of most other animated series being canceled. Now I feel like I'm watching TCW finally ascend that throne now. There is just nothing else like it. I feel justified for all the times I defended it. I've enjoyed this whole season mostly.

This episode was peak Star Wars content. This is the kind of thing I want to see more of from now on and less of what we've been getting in the recent films. Filoni may not be perfect but he belongs with Star Wars almost more than anyone right now.

    10/10
