Good late morning from NOVA. Thought I'd check in since my life is quiet enough for the moment. Most importantly my son who had his appendix out has been home for a week and took his final antibiotic this morning. We had his virtual 6th grade graduation from elementary school on Google Meet Thursday night. Thank goodness his graduation was already virtual and none of us had to miss a real graduation this year. He's almost better, I think a few days of no meds will make him even better. Unfortunately, I was in and out of the hospital either with him or with my younger son for the better part of 5 days. I missed lots of the US news which is mostly just for the best and I haven't even tried to catch up this week. Here's what I know. On top of the pandemic, the political unrest and my son having his appendix out some idiot so called Hanson fans decided to get angry at Hanson. First because they posted a photo of the space shuttle a couple of Saturdays ago, but they hadn't commented on the political state of our fine country. Apparently this made somebody so angry, or more than likely somebody just wanted to stir up trouble and already had a vendetta against Hanson. So they spilled some possible ugly stories about Zac. By sharing some stuff he posted on a private social media site. I'm sure most of you stopped reading by now anyway, but I am so glad I only glance at Twitter and never had Instagram or visited whatever the heck Redditt is because those places sound awful. I wish I could say I was surprised by this, but Zac has openly stated he has a license to conceal carry and I know he's not the most liberal chum. Anyway I am so over the internet and I still listen to Hanson music. The end.

 

@Runjedirun Love to hear that your son is doing better/had a virtual graduation. A slew of younger cousins in my family (a couple from kindergarten, one from elementary school) had drive-by/similar-ish graduations over the weekend.

Besties, I have a weird but awesome assignment. I was asked to design the visual identity of a huge horticultural exhibition they're organizing for 2022. A one-in-ten-years event. I hired the best designers in the country and just today they sent me the most awesome stuff. This is great! I get to make a living by hiring those I admire. Client's excited. Everything's good. Only...

... the whole exhibition might get canceled.
