The flight thing would be a neat party trick but not needing to sleep effectively tacks an extra 1/3 onto my life so I’m leaning in that direction.

 

Sleeping is one of the great joys of life. Flying with one foot off the ground? Sounds useless. Abstain

 

I think so long as the 'never sleep' thing doesn't drive me insane, I'd lean that way too; I'd like to retain my faculties. Sadly being unwaged has demonstrated to me that all the countless hours gained from not doing paid work has been largely squandered. I often wake with the whole day ahead of me, intending to use it productively, and find myself indulging in mindless pursuits instead.

 

Never need to sleep, and always have unlimited energy -- as long as I still had the option to sleep if I wanted!

 

Not be able to wash for two weeks. Easy.

 

I don't understand the use of these questions. What's the hypothetical situation in which we have to make that choice?

Never have to sleep. I hate sleeping. Think of all the languages I could learn with that extra time!

Um obviously kangaroo legs and octopus arms. It's arguably better than what I have now.

 

By the way I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail, but only if I could.

 

It absolutely would, though. Being eternally awake would be a ****ing nightmare.

I'm all over kangaroo legs and octopuss arms, though.

...and I'm a homeless hippie, I can go unwashed for months (but I don't, lol).

 

Below average

 

Pft I have depression, no washing for two weeks is easy.... Also I am still working from home. I could just lock myself in and not see anyone for two weeks. Can't work right now without internet, though.

Edit: I am already below average at respected things like finance and investment. I would prefer to be the best in the world at something no one cares about. Like I would love to be the most fluent Scottish Gaidhlig speaker in the world.

 

Mediocrity is my middle name, so I'll take 'below average' every time, because it would mean I'd carry on being the same person I am now.

 

I would pay good money to hear you recite poetry in a Scottish accent, Rae.

 

I feel that the question would make more sense if the second option was to be above average ?

Otherwise I don't get it. Aren't we all already below average on several things ?
