Star Wars was so ahead of it's time it's staggering. This pics could be released today and be enticing!

 

I like how that last image shows the slightly different orange colors of Luke's Hoth jacket vs. his flight suit.

 

^ The above outfit was based on Ralph McQuarrie's sketches for what Leia would wear on Yavin IV - at a stage when her attire from Imperial prison would be scanty enough that, according to the notes of the late costume designer John Mollo, she'd wear some of Han's clothes on the journey to the Rebel base.

 

It's weird but I never realized until I was much older how stunningly beautiful Carrie Fisher was.

This photo looks HiDef. Was that even a thing back then? I'm no camera expert.

 

Not until the late 90s, but I've seen older pictures than this one with similar quality, mostly relating to political figures. I can see what you mean about the HD look.

For what it's worth, @MatthewZ I thought my first Guinness one was fake at first because the girl's hat reminded me of Jessie from Toy Story.

 

The scene where they are making a toast was Alec Guiness's birthday.
