No doubt a big point that will probably be explored in Bad Batch is the changing of the guard - how the Empire will introduce birth-born legions into the Stormtrooper corps. I like to think that even after the purge the lasting influence of the Jedi generals over their respective battalions is what pushes the Empire to replace them.

I wonder if those test range scenes from the trailers correspond to this point (Tarkin trying to judge clone efficiency etc.) . If they start rolling into birth born troops they will probably fill in elite and senior positions first and then the core of the armies.

 

So I was re-reading Aftermath and one of the characters in Rax's Shadow Council Grand General Hondar Borrum apparently aided Vader in assaulting a place that was supposed to be some last grand stand for the Jedi Order after the purge.

Wonder if they'll ever talk about that. Or even if will see it in the Bad Batch.

 

Sounds like something that could also pop up in Jedi: Fallen Order 2.

I mean off the board can mean be in the Unknown Regions.

Off the board does't have to mean dead.

They just have to be out of commission or MIA before Return of the Jedi....Doesn't always have to mean death.

 

Indeed. But still no guarantee he will die or leave, he might just be off doing his own thing.

 

I can see jedi like Cal surviving and doing his own thing, maybe helping the early rebellion. He could meet up with Ahsoka and be apart of the jedi faction in the rebellion, om sure it weren't just the ones we saw in rebels. Also Quinlan vos might be another jedi who might live close to ANH timeline.

 

Been a few hours by now, so i wanted ask, you think during this era we might see some returning legends characters, like Glaen Marek and others as Inqusitors, Xixor as leader of the black sun as they are heavily involved in things going on in the galaxy around this time. Star wars Explained recently came out with a video of if Galen marek could possibly return in canon. And they toyed with the idea in Rebels. Could we see it in Bad Batch or other future content in this era. As an Inquisitor would be easy to get him in, or even as a secret apprentice if they want to. This art here shows how few legends characters could easily be fit in canon, maybe earlier then they were in legends.

Would be interesting to see them. Though I don't know how they would deal with Glaen or Mara (the read head here), a cameo would be cool maybe an Askoka like appearance. Also they would be very young in BB or even Kenobi times.

Xizor could work, since the BB are working in the underworld. He does exist and we know Falleens are a big part of the Black Sun leadership.

 

I'd be satisfied with an on-screen list of known Force-sensitive children including "JADE, MARA" in Aurebesh.

 

That would be fun, Marek, Galen would be good too.

Although what if it said 'deceased' next to the name?

I think Galen could work as a boss character.

I also think Xizor would work really well in Bad Batch or underworld show.

 

I feel like Xizor has the best chance of entering Canon then Starkiller.

Galen's entire thing has slowly been taken apart and all the things that sorta make him stand out is kinda gone at this point.

Xizor on the other hand can be brought back in wholesale like Thrawn was in Rebels.

 

Galen could be Vaders apprentice.

Yes Xizor could be brought in wholesale. I mean he even exists to some extent in canon, thanks to a salad and a mini in TPM pod race crowd.

 

Yeah but I loath the idea of Vader having apprentices or even ambition until after A New Hope.

Maybe outside of the whole trying to resurrect Padme thing.

 

See I like it. Since it shows he has abandoned love for seeking power.

 

I don't and I'm glad they kinda have abounded that angle of Vader

Granted I just don't think any of the Force Unleashed games are good stories to be honest.

 

I think also Galen and Mara og canon will be either jedi younglings or force sensetives Darth Vader found and they showed potenial stronger then the inquisitors. I can Galen as a villain for the Fallen Order series.

How is it waist of character, Filoni talked about doing this with Galen in Rebels. And only example of returning Legends characters we have is Thrawn. So We don't how it is used. They can have total new stories and not what legends had for them.

 

because having him just be a inquisitor seems like a downgrade

there is a reason Filoni didn’t use him since he doesn’t fit anymore

 

Well in canon he has to be downgraded at least in power level and his force powers. I think he can be as powerfull and skilled as Kanan, and he at same level as Grand inquisitor. So i don't mutch different, he'll never be as powerfull as Darth Vader.
