I really like Wrecker, he is so mutch better in this show then he was in the clone wars arc. I loved his scenes with Omega and the cut children, him and Tech are good.

It will be interesting to see how they add depth to him. They've added pathos by establishing the childish aspect, but that's still a cliche for the big muscle type. I do like him a bit more now though because of the cliche.

What would be interesting maybe -- Omega is so smart, maybe she tutors Wrecker and we discover some uncultivated intellect.

I think they can still add a lot to his character right now he is a kid in a very strong adult body

I think he is going to get depth bouncing off Omega. Wrecker was the first one to notice Omega was still at the ramp. The one who asked Omega if she was okay after the Nexu attack, besides Cut. Hunter is pretty quiet because he feels terrible for reprimanding her and doesn't know how to comfort her. Also when Wrecker rescues Omega from the Astromech of all things he again makes sure she is alright. He noticed quickly when she is missing. Echo and Tech on the other hand didn't even realize when she was gone until after the disks were gone.

Yea I think right now if I had to grade them on who cares for Omega the most it would be hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Echo

Omega seemed to gravitate more toward Tech, between him and Echo. She stuck close to him until she ran off. But Hunter and Wrecker are definitely who she is closest to.

It's what's left of Echo's old by the book personality. He knows a child shouldn't be adventuring with them. Thinking about what comes next still isn't his specialty granted it wasn't Fives' specialty either. I think Echo will have the most complicated relationship with Omega but will lighten up. He has just as little patience with Wrecker. These two will be a lot of fun if they are sent on an adventure just the two of them.

some are positing that Wrecker's headache this episode is the inhibitor chip and not just a bonk to the head. That would suck.

Wrecker may well have hit his head. But it is sure suspicious. He keeps holding his head about where the chip should be similar to what we've seen from Tup, Rex, and now Crosshair. Also it's probably no coincidence plot wise Tech is working on a device to test their inhibitor chips. I wonder if he will have a moment like Tup where he snaps or if the Bad Batch will come across a rogue Jedi who will set it off.

Interesting to think back to Echo's rescue where he complained of a Headache and wonder what if it wasn't being disconnected but from his damaged inhibitor chip. Also when Echo asked, "It can do that?" the way he looked at Omega.

I think its the chip as well and we'll probably see Wrecker snapping in one of the future episodes, maybe already the next one, and Tech's scanner will then come in handy. That way the Bad Batch can also learn how to remove the chip, so they can devise a plan to go back for Crosshair.

I noticed Wrecker does get hit in the head by a panel that fell down. But that seems like it wouldn't do anything to that guy's hard head.

I would be more concerned of a head injury recalibrating his chip had the panel fell and knocked him on his head and he began speaking in a calm, mannered voice from that point forward.

It might have turned Wrecker into Martha Stewart.

"Today we are going to be turning a tail gun turret into a hip little girl's room complete with recycled things from around she ship to keep things at zero budget."

It’s a fun joke, seriously, but...

...Is anyone else curious if part of the reason Dee Bradley Baker enjoys Wrecker especially is because he knows he’ll get to shift Wrecker’s entire personality and style eventually? Like, keep the voice, some of the love fo combat, but make it more terrifyingly vicious?

Loved that scene. It was like a big brother teaching his little sister his favorite hobby. Explosions are Wrecker's hobby.

Seems each batch member is teaching Omega some tricks of the trade. Today was Wrecker’s turn.

I think Wrecker was the most likely character to die. They were teasing the hell out of it. They almost certainly considered it.
