How do we know how old the Armorer is?

We dont but the actress is in her 30's i think. And different actress for both characters.

That could simply be misdirection on the part of Lucasfilm. Wouldn't Sabine be about 30 by the time of the Mandalorian?

Sounds about right. The voice could be altered through her helmet (like Vader's), so another actress could easily play the part if necessary.

While I don't think this is necessarily completely impossible, I do hope your wrong. Making Sabine an ultra-traditional Mandalorian seems like a very wrong direction for the character. But I also don't think they're going there.

Again, misdirection. We've never seen the Armorer without her helmet, so we really don't know her ethnicity.

It could be her way of doing penance. She made a weapon that targeted Mandalorian armor, so now she's trying to atone for her sins.

It could be but it seems like a very un-Sabine way of doing penance. But I'm also biased, I really like Sabine and I find the cult-leader personality of the Armorer not very sympathetic. I still apreciate the character but I think she shouldn't be painted too positively and an association with Sabine would definetely lead to a positive assessment of the character.

It seems like something Filoni would do. Similar to the way he first brought Ahsoka into Rebels.

There is absolutely no chance Sabine is the Armourer

At least they do some pallet swaps. The ones in early Mando were 100% the same.

But yeah, it is true. Heck, even in the Bad Batch it is noticeable to me sometimes that the model for human and pantoran civilians is clearly based on those early Mandalorian citizens, if much improved and more variance in their features

Yeah, they officially cast her in the Ahsoka series if I recall directly.

Sabine wouldn’t be the Armorer simply because there’d be too many hoops to jump through unnecessarily and too many storyline elements cut off that would come from having both of them in the story.

I mean, what’s the idea supposed to be? Sabine waited on Lothal for half a decade to team up with Ahsoka to hunt down Ezra, only to break away from her for some reason, ditch her style and armor entirely for an entirely different persona as the Armorer, string along Din instead fo just pointing him at Ahsoka, blame everything on Bo rather than herself or more realistic issues, and have LFL cover for her with two actresses?

    Nah.

I get it...that's why I used to say Rebels should just have re-used the TCW art style...all the assets they could have re-used to fill out the world with all the different characters.

Going back to the “What type of starfighter could/should Sabine have?”

What all did she fly in Rebels?

I know about TIE Fighters (including her “masterpiece”) and the A-Wing that she met the Protectors in, along with the shuttles the crew used. Anything else?

I still say Maul's old Gauntlet fighter renamed the Convor and painted with a bird motif. The troop area is modified with a small living area and bunk room.

I think I'm gonna watch Rebels before Ahsoka episode 1 is out :) I've only seen bits from the show with Ahsoka and Darth Vader :)

Artwork for what? That is just an idea I have for Sabine having the ship and what I think she would do with it.

@Chris0013 Sorry, I got confused. You posted artwork of the ship previously, and I had thought it was recolored.

Yes...the original model for the Gauntlet from Clone Wars is blue...Maul's ship in rebels was red.

I just searched the internet for star wars gauntlet fighter.

I was thinking of how both The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett have re-introduced several old characters with the titles of their live-action debuts and re-debuts referring to them. Grogu was christened The Child in episode 2, Bo-Katan was The Heiress of that episode, Cobb Vanth was The Marshall, Ahsoka was The Jedi, and Cad Bane was The Stranger coming from the desert. And of course, one shot characters have been announced with The Prisoner, The Gunslinger, The Passenger, and The Believer. Boba also kind of shares Bane’s designation as a “Stranger” form his first episode as well, so these aren’t neccessarily specific, but still act as a kind of announcement in the credits sequence.

So… when Sabine first appears in live action, what types of episode titles could you see them giving her debut?

The Artist, for her signature creativity?

The Rebel, to set her apart from the Mandalorians and reference the old show?

The Starbird, if her signature tag is shown first?

    Any ideas?
