Y'know I thought I was going to re-watch a bunch of Q episodes before Picard s2, All Good Things seems particularly relevant but in the end it was basically just Q-Who Robin Hood episode ahaha

Actually I meant I watched Q-Pid the Robin Hood episode, not Q-Who the Borg one. But really either/both episode is appropriate pre Picard s2 watching (probably also Tapestry and then All Good Things)

Watch the only reason that Q is back to harrass Picard being becuase Beckett told him to "go bug Picard" in LDS

I would love a Picard, Janeway, Sisko, Kirk, Pike, Burnham, Archer, Freeman team up episode of *something* at *some point.*

That unlikely, though; the most we'd probobly get is an episode of Picard where the TNG era captains (probobly not including Freeman) team up.

I was actually just thinking it look like something from SW, lol

    And no saucer!

    Okay.

In the background of most this scene, we see what appear to be alcove windows with blinds looking into the corridor from the deluxe cabins on the Enterprise D.

But clearly, from the many scenes that take place in these quarters, there is no evidence of such window from within.

So what are these oval panels that appear to complement the entry way to high end quarters on the ship?

Storage Locker? Jefferies Access? Fresh Food Coolers that are stocked by a chef?

Perhaps that's the red-light district of the D?

Maybe their meant to create the illusion of portholes, so that people walking in the coridors don't feel like their cramped up inside a spaceship?

I wonder if this set was originally intended to be like an airlock.

Similar to the DS9 airlocks...having a window view into the airlock would be helpful.

Sadly, airlocks were not very important to TNG plots. Only time I can think of one being used was when the Bynars come on board.

Space Suits and umbilical docking were rare.

Sometime later, the set was upgraded to "executive suite corridor".

Pike went off and grew a beard! I think his future vision from the Time crystals and seeing the Disco disappear for 900 years kinda bummed him out.

This has easily been Discovery's best season. Not sure why I held off on watching it until most of the season had been out, but I'm glad I caught up. It felt more traditionally Trek than any of the previous seasons which I think helped a lot.

I still wish we could get to know some of the bridge crew more though. I hardly know their names, let alone their personalities or character traits. I know the earlier Trek seasons had 20+ episodes a season so you could have an episode focused on, I dunno, Harry Kim or Odo or Troi, but Disco's been going for four full seasons now. I feel like I know sod all about characters like Owosekun, Rhys or Nilsson (whose name I even had to look up).

There's only one way to celebrate St. Patricks Day with Star Trek. And that's with Irish stereotypes!
