I mean, I'm too much of a simp for the Founding Fathers to support establishing, it were even remotely possible, any sort of a monarchy in the United States. But perhaps strangely, it doesn't bother me in all other contexts, like having the royal family at arm's length over in the UK. It'd just feel kinda wrong to ever see them gone for some reason. Of course a big factor here is that there is a major difference between a constitutional monarchy and an absolute monarchy. The latter being much more of a problem. Anyway, I guess I can just appreciate the appeal and importance in cultural terms. LOL

Also, does arguing about whether or not the Enlightenment helped facilitate progress count as a political debate?

 

Well I could give my explanation for why I dislike the secular idea of progress but then we’d really be here all day

Wanda as the villain was so freaking cool. Watching her just chop through the entire Illuminati was a bit shocking, but that was the point and it all worked so well.

Speaking of the Illuminati (who we already knew we’re gonna be in it, just not to what extent), they were pretty much the only cameos, which isn’t a bad thing. It was definitely not a “cameo fest” like heels was worried about. I was so happy we got to see John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. They were all cool to see, even if they died three seconds later

I think watching WandaVision or at least having a general idea of what happens in WandaVision is sort of essential, but once again, I don’t really view that as a bad thing, it’s a continuing story and I’m personally glad we have it that way

So yeah, I liked it

 

this is JKF he was probably counting how many extras there were in a scene and what percentage of them would die a horrible death to notice. While possibly thinking how many had met Musk.
