Mini Series Darth Vader in Kenobi Series

That actually would tie things together nicely!

 

It would and it might ease the dislike of luke doing it for some if obi wan does the same.

The one thing we know he doesn't do is write in the journal about luke and leia and who they are. He wouldn't in case it fell into the wrong hands and the empire discover luke is anakin skywalkers son even if most in the empire don't know anakin is vader. Its just about his experiences on tatooine.

In empire when luke uses the force to call the lightsabwr to his hand while in the wampas lair he may and I stress may have learned to that by reading kenobis journal which if you read marvel know he reads it between anh and esb.
I think we will see him write in the journal in the series

 

I really hope Vader shows in the first 2 episodes and not be set-up as a "hook" at the end of ep.2 so that we have to wait 5 more days until the 3rd episode drops.

Do you think this will be the case?

I think his presence will be felt in most episodes, even if some include his forces reporting to him, etc. I imagine they build up to the big rematch.

 

The big rematch is what the series is building to but theres no way we wont see Vader in some form before then. We might see him sparring against the Inquisitors weeding out the weaker ones as we saw in the Marvel comics. We may see him floating in the bacta tank and trying to heal his body all the while consumed with a hatred for Obi wan.

We may get flashbacks from both Obi Wan and Vaders pov. He will be in it no question.

I do believe that Vader will sustain some damage to his suit either after fighting Kenobi or someone else because his suit at the end of ROTS looks a bit different to ANH where the control panel seems to be on straps of sorts in ANH.

It would explain the slight differences tying together things further.

 

I'd say we will see Vader wiping out some Jedi as part of the purge. I would imagine he will be at his most frightening in this series.

 

As Darth Vader is my favorite character (username gives it away) that is my hope.

Its my wish that we get a black series Anakin Skywalker with add on armor and battle damage features.

plus of course the GI Black series /VC and other cast members too in both lines

Vader went back to Tatooine in the marvel comics so no biggie if hes there in Kenobi

 

I think Vader's first word will simply be 'Kenobi' then we'll have to wait till the following episode to see what happens next.

 

Vader always addressed him as Obi Wan when speaking about him post PT so more Obi Wan then Kenobi.

Despite his hatred it shows a simmering level of respect that Vader still had for him.

 

I do wonder if Vader will get sand in his respirator and grumble about it.

 

Vader may not leave his fortress but sends the Inquisitors to do his work. I would like to see that poster image be realized though. Can you imagine Obi Wan is in the dune sea or beggars canyon and he sees Vader on a high cliff in the distance.

Shudders.......Im going to go crazy if that happens.

 

But if he finds & finds OWK on Tatooine why doesn't he stay and search until he finds him again?

 

I don't think its Tatooine. Star Wars now days has many desert-looking planets. Either that or its just a marketing image

I think the sand planet Vader appears on will be Jabiim not Tatooine. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for Vader to fight Obi-Wan on Tatooine. Unless that leaked video we saw of the fight is a nightmare of Obi-Wan’s or something.

 

Vader didn't find kenobi the first time when he went there in the comics plus the emperor wouldn't be happy with his obsession and would have him consolidate the grip on the planets for the empire. I'd imagine that's why the inquisitors are looking for him. Vader is doing whatever the emperor wants him to do.

It may be tatooine it may not. It doesn't matter what planet.

Vader stands on a dune and the sand swirls around Vader as he shouts! “Kenobi! I hate you!”
