Gotta be impressed with how they can be tone deaf in multiple ways at once.

 

What's amazing is she proud that she made that choice. A choice she now wants to remove from every other woman, and instead put in the hands of the government. The same government, I'm guessing, she wanted to overthrow just 2 years ago.

She wants to remove the choice to have a baby from every other woman?

 

Yes. Choice works both ways. By removing that choice from other women, and instead putting into the hands of the government by force, other pregnant women have no choice but to have their baby. Unlike her who got to choose what she wanted. See how that works?

 

A lot pregnant people might still seek an abortion - but not have access to a safe abortion. Thus risking their lives, as well,

aaah my aunt and i had an argument like this. i've gone too populist and in her mind i'm missing the point of democracy and i am trying to get around to her point of view. i know populism emerges at the breakdown of democracy. anyway i feel like such an adult child and i just wish i could remove myself from human society but i'm too afraid of dying even though i'm in bad shape already.
