Gaming Star Wars: Jedi (Fallen Order, Survivor) [Mod Approved]

I definitely plan on it. I have like a 2 week window between finals and my job starting that I didn’t know I would have until like yesterday. So will definitely give it a read then.

Oh also minor spoilers for what is one of my favorite scenes in the game despite it being so short.

when Bode and Cal leave the separatist ship in escape pods and Cal is freaking out a bit. It’s over so quickly but it’s a nice call back to the fact his master literally died when he was fleeing in one.

 

THIS STUPID FRACTURE THINGY CAN KISS MY PALE ASS!

 

The story of this game makes me wish the bridge novel was good. I’d love to be able to fill in the gaps, but from what I’ve heard via word of mouth regarding Battle Scars, it’s a hard pass for me.

that Forest place? I’m legit stumped on it and I sure don’t want to look up a video and then my feed blast me massive spoilers.

 

You need to kill a large beastie to the left of the gates and then do the wall running thing

 

I killed some big Wampa wannabe last night after a vine climb and seemed like I was above the area but I only had a wall jump to a chest. That thing was no joke on Jedi Master that’s for sure. Does that sound familiar? I didn’t see any gateway up there.

 

I was literally stuck at this too for hours and wandering until I gave up and googled, I even encountered the monster but thought it was beyond my skill level but you have to take it out to progress in the main campaign. It's kind of a triceratops thing. But yah after the meditation point by the gate, above the waterfall where the Fracture was

A triceratops? Man that must be a hell of long trek from where I was talking about with the Wampa knockoff… as for that stupid fracture thing to hell with that cluster f! It pissed me so bad I may never mess with it again unless I have to beat this game.

 

I tried the fracture 3 times

I went at least 20ish times before cursing and leaving. There is no pattern that I could make out. Most times I couldn’t even make it to the 1st slide..

Unless it requires additional Force powers later on. If it’s not a requirement then to hell with that thing I won’t be cracking my brain trying to do that hot mess again.

 

Guys I have a question? Why don’t you just lower the difficulty? I ain’t good at souls-like games. Is it really that important to you? I am genuinely curious

 

Gamer pride, man, gamer pride.

Strange as it sounds, Story aids the narrative as Cal's saber annihilates almost anything on that setting. Really avoids the your-lightsaber-is-a-baseball-bat effect.

 

Like again I played mostly on Padawan, switched to story on some bosses. If you died to an enemy on story mode you should feel shame. That is easy as hell. It will take me a few playthroughs to work up the ranks I think.
