Discussion The Cast of The Mandalorian and Grogu

Production on this film is starting this year and we should start hearing casting rumors soon and eventually the official cast will be announced. Until then we can use this thread to discuss who we’d like to see cast in the film. We already know two cast members.

Rumored Cast Members

Angela Bassett - Rumored to have met with Lucasfilm about a role in Star Wars. Unclear what project.

Sigourney Weaver - Reported by The Hollywood Reporter to be in talks to star in the film.

Jim Cummings as Hondo Ohnaka is a no-brainer. And Emilia Clarke as Qi'ra.
But whom to cast as Jaxxon...?

I'm hoping for Miriama McDowell as Omega.

I really like the chemistry between Mando and Boba Fett so I’d love it if he’s in this. A brief cameo of Han and Chewie would be fun. Especially if it means they interact with Boba Fett. Qi’ra would be a welcome surprise.

 

I want two hundred shots like that in the movie.

 

Well Pedro is obviously in this too but I imagine it’ll be just mostly voice work again as he’s also confirmed now to be filming F4 soon.

 

I love if get surprise appearance of Jar Jar.

 

Since its a movie i could see Pedro showing more interest than he does with the TV stuff.

Considering they did not change the whole Helmet thing, i dunno if there will be any room for it really though.

 

I would also love it if that didn't happen.
