From Reddit. More Assajj Ventress is coming beoynd Bad Batch...

This is a week old but Nika Futterman (voice of Ventress) did an interview with Rule of Galaxy podcast and when asked about her return in the Bad Batch she said it’s just an appetizer.

 

Not at all shocking. My bet is tales of the Jedi of her and Nerec are possible.

 

I expect an animated show with her and Vos during Kenobi timeline dealing with The Path and Jedi survivors.

 

It’s possible. I won’t actually be that shocked if we get an announcement May 4th of what the next animated show is. Probably for a 2025 release date.

 

So maybe more TOTJ Dooku?! Wizard!!!

 

That and show with her and Vos close to Kenobi's timeline.

 

Could she follow Katee Sackhoff and bring the character into live action?

 

I think it’s very possible.

 

Much better off going with a strong live action actress, as they did with Dawson.

Ventress has always rocked. Yet, the GFFA has really kicked her around. I would love to see Asaj win. Her episodes helping Ahsoka had a certain energy. Not knowing the average life span of most species, it's hard to say who would still be around when. But there is already a connection to Ahsoka. Hmmm.

 

Jennifer Corbett teases that Assajj Ventress will be a part of Omega's story for specific ressons. Maybe takes on a mother role?

Brad Rau already tessed Assajj Ventress after Bad Batch season 3 and where she might be headed next so , no she wont be killed off again in Bad Batch like some feared. I now expect more dark times shows. But more closer to Fallen order/Survivor and Kenobi. Somewhere between there.

 

I'd forgotten that not only does Ventress have a history with Ahsoka, but she also has a brief history with Boba as well. Pretty sure he's got a grudge with her of course.

I get that it's "another resurrection."

But I'm glad that Asajj Ventress is back because, frankly, killing her off in a novel that nobody was going to remember... kinda sucks.

Considering that even in the EU Asajj "died" and returned several times (after confrontations on Yavin, Coruscant and Boz Pity), it already seems like a character gimmick.

That should be a Star Wars insult right next to "Echuta!" and "Maclunkey!"

 

I thought "Maclunkey" meant "I'm gonna blast your left ear now".

 

The more I have been thinking about it the more I am convinced that the next show will be a spinoff with Ventress. It’s either that or she shows up in Ahsoka season 2
