    Part 7

    -------------------------------------

Discussion of New Episodes - Rules
    (1) One of the mods will post each week's episode thread a day or two before it airs on Disney+.

    (2) Official episode commentary may be posted in this episode thread.

    (3) Discussion in the actual episode thread will be limited to that specific episode, NOT future episodes; past episodes may be referenced. Speculation based on released material is permitted.

    (4) Acolyte episodes air on Tuesday on Disney+. Anyone who shares plot details about an episode before then must use spoiler tags. After that folks will begin discussing their reviews and thoughts without tags which will likely include spoilers. To anyone concerned about being spoiled before watching the episode it is your responsibility to avoid the thread until you have had your chance to view.

    (5) All leaks and rumors must be spoiler tagged until they are either proven or disproven.

    (6) Reviews for each episode may be posted once they have aired. One of the mods will add a grading poll to that episode's discussion thread.

Hmmm, we’ll there’s a lot in this episode that leaves me puzzled but I’m sure Sol will explain everything when they get back to the ship.

Do we get the deep, dark, bad secret this episode or in the last one?

No but we will get the mildly amusing, awkward secret.

I am no longer 100% convinced one of the Mothers is still alive and puppeteering events...

    ...however...

That said, the absolute perfect timing to have their survival and Sith Lording be revealed would be at the end of the episode which finally shows the decisive events surrounding their apparent death. And also happens to be the penultimate episode before the finale which should have the main villain confronted in some way.

We never saw Koril's body hough either. Did we? We know mom was dead, or at least that's what her memory was. But Koril could still be alive.

Of the remaining candidates for Sith Master I still think Mother Aniseya makes the most sense. Mother Koril feels like a red herring. Someone we’re meant to suspect but in reality is just a pawn. The anti-Jedi Senator feels too much like a Palpatine clone (not an actual Palpatine clone obviously :p). Vernestra seems genuinely puzzled by the events unfolding so the idea that she’s a secret Sith just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. It could be someone completely unconnected like Darth Plagueis but my feeling is that everything that has transpired is connected to this one event in the past. So my guess is still Mother Aniseya.

I think Mother Aniseya wanted to create a Force Dyad in order to give herself eternal life. That’s what the Ascension ceremony was supposed to be and Mother Koril and the other witches are just unaware of her true desire.

Hey, she didn’t fall down a reactor shaft. :p All we see is what we think is her body on the ground. Very easily faked. Especially if she can control minds. Make them see what she wants them to see.

Seriously though someone is putting visions into Osha’s mind and the series has literally told us that that’s something Mother Aniseya can do.

So I think the Jedi figure it out that Aniseya is a Sith and they try to stop her. She turns Kalnacca against them. At first I thought it would be Torbin but I think the trailer is misleading. Given that Kalnacca is the one drawing the coven’s symbols in his hut I now think he’s the one who gets mind controlled. Plus if you’re looking to cause havoc who are you going to choose? The Wookiee Jedi or the human Padawan? Plus plus he isn’t shown on the ship afterwards perhaps because he’s being restrained.

Anyway, the Jedi fight Aniseya and Kalnacca and some witches get killed in the crosshair. Somehow they think they kill her and leave with Osha. Sol alters her mind to make her think it was her sister who started it. Flash forward to the present and Mother Aniseya is trying to reunite her daughters while her apprentice Darth Qimir wants to recruit one of them to help him overthrow her. The big climax is Mother Aniseya vs. Qimir and Osha vs. Sol and Mae. Darth Mother Aniseya will try to complete the ceremony while the others try to thwart her. She dies. Sol dies. Qimir and Osha go off to train as master and apprentice. Mae escapes with her life and Vernestra and the Jedi blame Sol and Osha for everything. The end.

Maybe, the reason all the witches were dead without visible wounds is that were force-choked? [face_thinking]
