Skeleton Crew What characters and planets do you want to appear?

I honestly think the only other existing character I really want to see in this show is Hondo.

Tatooine - I can't say I remember ever seeing this in Star Wars.

I’ve hoped for a Hondo cameo in every Disney+ series. A show heavily featuring pirates is the best chance yet.

 

His ship seems to be in the spaceport scene so... Who knows?

Hmmm....I have been liking how self-contained the show has been so far, but if I had to pick a returning character, Phee Genoa would be cool being both a pirate and someone who is all about using ancient history and legends to track down lost worlds and their treasures. Or, on that note, maybe an older Omega either as a New Republic officer or following in Phee's footsteps after the war.

Similarly, on the topic of star wars treasure hunters and explorers, younger versions of Lor San Tekka or Mika Grey could work, as would Dr Aphra and/or many of her supporting caste from the comics.

On the pirate side of things...well, the pirate roster is already looking pretty full, though I could see a post-credit scene or something where news of the events of the show make their way to that one warlord who was talking about plundering the Republic's trade lanes and is going to be in the Mando movie. Or even go for a novel pull with Eleodie Maracavanya - it would be pretty sweet to see a super star destroyer in pirate colors if nothing else.

There being a bounty on the crew opens up possibilities as well...though I confess I am not sure which ones. It is fun to imagine Din showing and pulling his "Bring you in warm or cold" routine, he did mention that he is being more selective with his clients...and even before that he said never trust a pirate, so I doubt he would take a pirate bounty. Other than that, I am struggling to think of which bounty hunters are even active in this period, with so many either being dead or doing something else. There is T'onga and her crew, but they aren't exactly the biggest name drops.

Oh, and while not a specific place or character, it would be fun to see some active duty Republic Droppers at some point.

In fairness, that type of ship has been in the background of nearly every star wars show, like many other designs from Rise of Skywalker's citizen's fleet. Also shows up a bit in star wars outlaws.

 

He may not take a pirate bounty but he may take a selected mission from new republic rangers that ask for his help on tracking down a strange scoundrel with some misteriosi kids in tow?

 

Other than someone appropriate like Hondo, I hope they keep the characters new and original or from Legends.

 

I don’t know if anyone at Lucasfilm is brave enough to go all in leaning into Legends. I’m all for Hondo — cmon Disney -/ tie it into Galaxy’s Edge. Visit Black Spire Outpost.

When Jod was talking about going to someone who knows stuff, I was hoping for Phee as well.

 

He showed up in one of the comics for Galaxy's Edge.

Honestly, I'm surpised that Nar Shaddaa hasn't ever shown up in a cartoon or live action project yet.

Given Vane's presence here - particularly how he was described in the episode guide - I think this is solidly after Mando season 3 and Gorian Shard is dead.

Well, I think most are still kids now, but then again so are the protagonists of the show...

Well, not that particular version of Crimson Jack, too many pants on this one, and as clonegeek pointed out there has been a canon comic with a Crimson Jack already.

Definitely makes the name more widespread knowledge though, and that probably counts more than being canon in the long run.

 

Wonder if the snow planet (with seemingly a resort/casino on it) from trailer will be one of the previously established ones.
