Comics Kylo Ren Returns in Marvel’s Star Wars: Legacy of Vader

Probably would not be a big retcon with Pryde working directly for Palpatine since at least the end of TLJ, tasked to assist Kylo to prevent the FO from collapsing.

I'm thinking with Palpatine's message or before either. I wonder if this comic will also show how Kylo learns about the dyad.

 

I think it it ends or leads into the movie as he travels to Mustafar to take the sith wayfinder

 

I'll be curious if we get many scenes with Rey and co or if this will mainly just stick with Kylo.

 

Rey and co probably be cameos characters in this comic run

 

We know the Battle of Batuu happened during that year, and that Rey and Kylo confront each other (twice!) during that battle. Seeing as it is a fairly major event of the post-TLJ year, the new series needs to address it in one way or another, so even if we see Rey and co. at no other time, I expect we will there.

 

Been a while since I have read that ST material. Where does it say they confronted one another then?

 

I believe they confronted one another as part of a show in the now defunct Star Wars hotel project. LFL considers theme park stuff to be canon.

 

Ahh ok. Thought it may have been at something like that. I don't remember Rey and Kylo confronting each other in any of the books or comics.

 

We got the ST comic that had Rey and co travel to Mon cala and visit Ackbar jr and king Lee Char's grandson. And that was about the Resistance getting new ships.

From what i recall, Rey dosent start to use a lightsaber again until close to the timeline of TROS again. Kylo Ren and Hux chases The Resistance all over the Galaxy. And killing offf planets in their way.

 

Well the Kylo Ren run is just after The Last Jedi

 

Yep. The Galaxy's Edge "storyline," including Rise of the Resistance and Galactic Starcruiser, centers around the Battle of Batuu and is canonical. The comic approaching these events from Kylo's point of view, including dueling with Rey, might well prove interesting.

 

So i reckon the year between TLJ and TROS is going to eventually become the new clone wars continuity headache, see you in 15 years!

 

Maybe, Maybe not. Hopefully Star Wars fans are grown up enough by that point though to not make hundreds of angry rant videos about it.

 

Chronologically... as I understood it:

Resistance Reborn
Most of Black Spire
Allegiance (comic) maybe some Hyperspace Adventures around this time, too
Rise of the Resistance and other Batuu content (about 6 months on)
Spark of Resistance (was Rey's sabre back in use, here?)
Then TROS

 

Spark of the Resistance actually slots in just after Allegiance, before the Batuu content, and Rey does not use her lightsaber in that story (admittedly going by Wookieepedia on that since I don't remember it). I think Rise of the Resistance / Galactic Starcruiser is the first time, chronologically, we see her using it post-TLJ, and I think is also chronologically the last time we see Rey or Kylo (other than Kylo's very brief appearance in the final episode of Resistance) prior to TROS.

I like it. Everyone should decorate with a dead Snoke. Leave one on your starship, put one in a decorative vat, maybe use one as a scarecrow on your farm.
