Andor what characters, loose ends etc do you want to see in Andor?

Still trying to make out who is on the senate podium in the trailer it's not palps

 

Easiest guess is Mas Amedda and Sly Moore. The latter was name-dropped by Mon Mothma in Andor S1, if I remember correctly.

 

Both were i think, but called Mas Amedda the Grand Vizier and thats his title

 

I want the Pamular brothers, Freedi and Dewi, to reel in Kino Loy and deliver their catch to Cassian.

I hope Lonni the mole survives all this galactic turmoil. I haven't noticed him being used in any promotional material yet. They must be holding him back for something big. Real big!

Given we already know about Krennic and K2SO and others, I wonder who the surprise reveals will be. Tarkin seems obvious but could we also get one of the OT icons?

Ha, yes that is his personal space. He had a white uniform but it has been worn into the colors of the trash compactor. The way he /she would like it.

It has to be a Vader hint. Plus we see Deedra clearly being Force choked.

 

I think Mothma is probably speaking metaophorically about the Empire, and/ or referring to Palpatine. But I got the feeling the trailer creators, with that line and the possible force choke, might have been hinting at Vader. But that’s not certain, of course.

The dianoga is also a likely candidate. Which means we’ll probably get a dianoga-Bor Gullet face-off.

I think so too, but they may want to bring a major horror set piece into the show’s finale to go out with a bang. Imagine treating Vader’s brutality with the realism of the Andor style? Could be truly horrifying. And the more I watch that shot of Dedra clawing at her throat and collar, the more I think…maybe…

 

What if its Palpatine that Force chokes her for her failure, then Vader says "I warned you the Emperor wasn't as forgiving as I am" as an epitaph before following his master???

 

I agree, and said from the start that it looks more like a panic attack. And I don’t think it’s hugely likely that we’ll see Vader in this. But there’s something about that final trailer that makes me feel like the editors are hinting at the possibility…

I also agree about the Vader village attack in Obi-wan. Horrifying. But not in a psychological way. It was monster Vader. In Andor, I could see Vader being treated as the next level up of torture from the horrible screaming headphones, utilizing some kind of horrifying darkside psychological and physical torture. They might want to go there for the finale. But yeah, I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.

 

Given how important Luthen is to the rebellion, if he goes down as expected, it would have to be someone big to take him down though. Someone at Vader's level...especially if it turns out that Rael is a force user which while unlikely, is definitely not impossible.

 

I don’t think Andor functions on that kind of storytelling logic, though. Luthen could also be brought down by someone small, who in the course of his means-to-an-end tactics, he’s caused pain. Could be Anton Kreegyr’s kid, who finds out about the sacrifice, for example. Or even just someone or something he didn’t anticipate in his plans, just as he didn’t anticipate the organic rebellion on Ferrix. All kinds of possibilities. He doesn’t have to be taken out by someone at his organizational level.

There’s no big boss fight logic in this story. Not for the bad guys either. I mean, look at who brought Dedra low at the end of season one. A group of workers on Ferrix, not Luthen.

 

Bought low, not defeated. There's a difference. But hey, I don't mind who is or isn't in it, I'm in for wherever the ride takes us.

 

I'm wondering whether Luthen's demise could in some way be a result of his hubris and overconfidence. Thus mirroring the Emperor's downfall.

I hope there are no Jedi in this show no Darth Vader or Inquisitors i would like this show to be about ordinary people not Force users i would only tolerate Palpatine playing as the Emperor in the Senate talking about galactic politics Andor may be the example that you dont need Force users for a Star Wars story to work in Live Action
