    Oh dear.

    Good news is though:

I finished Black Fleet Crisis! Really enjoyed it for the most part. Intrigued to see what's gonna happen with those Imp ships that disappeared.
Also, got ahold of The Essential Chronology(and EGW a few weeks ago) and am gonna read through that (up to where I am in the NR story anyway)

Gonna finish Mask of Fear before I read anything else though.

So, rampant and random speculation on the first three episodes of Season 2 of Andor.

The upcoming Ghorman massacre is being heavily foreshadowed in the first three episodes. However, with all this talk of Kalkite and how gouge mining will destabilize the planet, I think One Canon needs to be ready to make two minor shifts.

First; Ghorman massacres : the first one in 18 BBY with Tarkin landing his ship on protestors, killing hundreds. This protest, the massacre, and the response to it establish the anti-Ghorman sentiment established as existing in these new Andor Episodes. The second Massacre occurs in 2 BBY, this one potentially with a much higher death count. This sets Mon Mothma to speak out openly against Palpatine and go on the run.

Second, we might want to entertain the notion of two Ghormans (Ghorman Prime/Major and Ghorman Secundus/Minor/Lesser). The reason for this is because Ghorman is listed as a member of the New Republic in Legends. And it seems like they are setting up the possibility of the planet blowing up in Andor.

This isn't unprecedented in One Canon, nor is it even a stretch in the official Canon. Canon has Eufornis Major and Eufornis Minor, along with Raxus Prime and Raxus Secundus. So it's not a stretch to state that there are two Ghormans. One might be named after the other in-universe. They might even be in the same solar system.

I am confused that farmworld was not Dantooine sadly... Dantooine is the Bothans of planets in Disney canon it seems!

With all of these city planets like Coruscant floating around you need plenty of agri-worlds to support them.

Not gonna spoil anything for you. But episode 3 has some...heavy, subject matter. Be prepared.

Afraid the dissappearing Imp ships largely became a passing anecdote, but Sinrebirth did keep careful track of them.

Two Ghorman Massacres meantime seems like the simplest solution for the moment, with the first being a relatively minor event for many, that the Alliance played up in it's profiling of Tarkin?

Also, the Avenger prototype was presumably deemed way too ambitious, scaled way back, and maybe folded into the Defender program?
Then revived when Admiral Zaarin took over fighter development programs (possibly aided by Martio Batch?)

Additionally, Leida's fate will presumably be a bit up in the air.

I also continue to rehearse ideas for a likely Leia and the coverup story. Sorting out the proper sequence for the Swarm War and the various reveals about Leia's parents remains a winkle area though.

Don’t forget we have two Kessels and likely two Anaxes across One Canon. And two Byss in Legends.

    EDIT:

Decent starfighter programs seem to be crushed by Krennic until he is killed, so as not to deaden the need for his Death Star. Batch and Zaarin seems to restart them all.

    By Krennic, and Erso too.

Why would we need two Kessels?

Season Six of the Clone Wars shows a Kessel that's more of a traditional planet. Legends portrays it as more of an asteroid. Presumably they're both in the same star system.

There was also Kessel the jungle world shown in one of the early Marvel runs, which I roll into the canonical Kessel.

Jungle Kessel is Little Kessel, named later, in the Essential Atlas, I do believe.
It was often used by smugglers as a fake part of the Kessel Run, to mess with the newbies on their initiations.

As for Kessel being more spherical back nearer the Clone Wars, I have headcanoned (toyed with doing so, anyway) the idea an industrial accident split the planet or caused it to crumble over time, a bit like Jedha is tending to do - fumbled Coaxium being a possible culprit. Although the window for that would have to be tight - maybe soon after it appears in Rebels?

Suffice to say, an uneasy retcon to employ either way, and likely to be short-lived if so.

I think I know the answer, but would the Cosmo Hender/First Skywalker story from Alien Exodus come before, or after, the Fall of the Infinite Empire?

Before. Long Before. The Tho Yor ships carried humans to Tython from other worlds in the galaxy in 36,453 BBY. The Infinite Empire didn't implode until 25,200 BBY.

Yeah, we're talking like 200,000 BBY likely here... which boggles the mind.
Most of that would be a matter of simply legend to most... although the story has been referenced in the new Complete Locations book, with the Antonian Lagoon being named for a character from Cosmo's story.
This would also be long before the colonization ship boom of 28,000 to 26,000 BBY, which is where most human settlements are assumed (by modern SW cultures) to have started from.

EDIT - I have also slightly updated the Broken Wings storyline, by switching out references to Abeloth from that of the One Sith.

That should align better with the Mortis Quest story, now.

Hello One-Canoners, and especially One Canon writers! Because I don't know if any of you hang out in Fanfic Resource, I thought I'd mention over here that there's a writing challenge that begins in two days that you may be interested in. It's the WIP month, whose purpose is, you guessed it, to make progress on or finish your works in progress. Sign-ups are open until 30 April, so if you're interested you'll want to have a look straight away..

Even Sidious would be hard pressed to battle a being like Abeloth without being wounded.
