With Palpatine at least it was just one powerful man vs four opponents, it is supposed to show they were outclassed.

Absolutely although we still won't know the full story until we see the film... It will be interesting to see what is correct and what is not complete with the leaks.

 

I believe the leak is mostly accurate, I'm just hoping that the 10% that seems the most controversial was either changed, lacks sufficient context, or comes from a TESB-esque attempt at obfuscating reality.

 

I wonder who voices Babu Frik. For some reason I imagine David Cross's voice coming from the little guy.

 

So it looks we have all of them, pretty cool. I always liked Tan's art.

 

I know he's gonna have a deep ass Barry White/chain smoker voice, with a rough Brooklyn accent.

That is not confirmation. It might be a lucky guess, but they are reading way too much into tweets.

 

Well, he is a Golden Raspberry joint winner, with David Goyer for Batman vs Superman for worst screenplay.

There are some good ideas in there, the extended cut helps alot but it can't do anything to fix the core problem of how badly executed the bulk of it is.

If that happens here? There's going to be problems.

Argo is likely to irritate me Jid, as I dislike 'based on a true story' films which then invoke 'artistic license' to make up stuff that didn't happen. If you want to do that, just do total fiction instead.

Edit - One minor aspect of BvS and JL I really enjoyed was Jeremy Irons' Alfred. He can't single-handed save either film, but does have some great lines.

In that respect, it would be entirely possible to get some great moments in RoS coupled with problematic execution.

The problems with that story are so apparent that even with the mess of the ST so far I doubt they go that route.

Creation? Sure considering what's been implied with Palps and Anakin. But direct natural biological descendant? I still have a hard time believing that will be the finished product. Not with George involved.

 

That can't be the real answer. They have to be smarter than that, it's already infuriating more than half the fandom for different reasons.

 

Well to be honest, his job is to write IX. He can't do anything about mistakes of other writers that worked before him.

Someone in The Director and the Jedi, can't remember who exactly right this second, said the production was bigger than TFA and RO put together.

Handing that kind of total off to someone like Johnson who had never dealt with that kind of scope was too much for him.
