Fun The Treehouse Social Thread

Well, I thought I'd give you an update on the new kitten. His name is Jake. He was really aggressive towards the other animals so we had him in his own space. Well he got lonely so we have been letting him for a few minutes a day, and now he is in for hours before he wants back to his space. He is adjust faster than what I expected. He has even jumped on beds and laid next to the other cats.

Last night, he laid on my lap in the rocking chair at midnight. We watched Bob's Burgers.

 

awwww, that sounds adorable. Glad he's adjusting.

I've started my new battle with the idiot's insurance company

Well things seem like they are calming down (for the moment). I do have some good news. One of my friends is up for a promotion to join my area. I have been wanting to work with him again for sooo long. I'm praying he gets it. I was hoping you all wouldn't mind sending some prayers and luck, because it work for me when I got my transfer. So I'm hoping it will work again. My brother and his friend are trying to get moved so if you would send some love I'd appreciate it.

After all, we are all brothers and sisters of the force!

Because it's Christmas week, of course I manage to break a crown while eating chips and salsa. Trying to find a new dentist since I moved to TX, one taking the Dental care advantage I had while in WI, one taking new patients and maybe even having an open appt sometimes this year??? I got lucky finding a Monday appt. so that's good. Hopefully the discomfort I feel won't increase too much by then.

Thanks, so far the pain isn't bad, as long as I (disgustingly) chew with my mouth open. There seems to be no pressure moving the two broken pieces about this way.

What a strange month this has been. Some really great stuff has happened along with two bad events. Had my rear left wheel stolen off of my car a week ago, lug nuts and all. It's all good now, but it cost a fortune to get that all fixed. Also, friend of the family passed away beginning of this week from stage 4 lung cancer (not related to smoking). She battled it for almost a year, always in good spirits. **** cancer.

It's gone 4am here and my arm is in agony from the booster jab. Not even the gentle polyrhythmic snoring from my wife and cat is helping me doze off. Fortunately, it will be offset in a few hours by the sight of my kids and visiting family forming a tornado of ripped wrapping paper, and a turkey the size of a tauntaun. Just hope it smells better!
