Logan's Trench Run

The story follows young Logan Skyrunner as he navigates Malltooine, a massive subterranean shopping center, searching for freedom outside of the megashopolis. Life was good before the crime syndicates moved in to sell their illegal wares. Black Taungsday was the peak of its wretchedness.
Eventually, Logan finds a way to the surface, only to discover his entire world has been one big mercantile space station the entire time. He takes to the road, a skylight-covered trench riddled with small trees and AC units that runs the circumference of this behemoth megastructure. While being chased by malltroopers, which takes up 90 minutes of film time, spanning the course of days for our hero, Logan encounters a small hatch in the trench that reads "ENTER". Figuring this might be a good place to hide until the malltroopers call off the hunt, Logan crawls in, loses his footing, and falls down the chute. Like this:
