@jcgoble3, ABC, NBC, and CBS will all have coverage that's pretty equivalent to what CNN does. Update-to-date info, a highly professional decision desk, good analysis of how Harris and Trump are doing as the votes come in that all allows them to make educated guesses about who's ahead in each battleground state, and mostly vapid commentary. PBS's commentary will be less dumb, but they don't have the same resources, so you they might a little less accurate in accessing how the candidates are doing on a granular basis.

Oh the trump ads are incredibly stupid here in filly there are two ads on billboards I have seen one was something along the lines of (trump is a supporter of equal rights) about that…

    and

the sign I saw saying democrats for trump.

which is true there are some registered democrats who are voting for trump in the fact they registered to be democrats in like 1960-1980 and now vote republican. Democrats who went from Biden to trump not so much (there are republicans who went from trump to Biden.

I am sure the Republican Party also has people on their party lists who have actually voted democrat for years and never bothered to update their party affiliation. (Separate from the people who voted trump in 2016 or 2020)

JKF, before you disappear, let me just say how much I admire you. You always bring a lot passion to your issues. That's not necessarily uncommon on the internet. But you are willing to work for them, visibly. That's something that is. I have been glad to know someone who is out there making calls, texts, and other efforts. I didn't manage to get in there beside you, but it's a real honor knowing someone who did. I am glad you were able to stand up for something you believe in. I respect what you are trying to accomplish. Hopefully you have some very pleasant consequences coming soon.

To be fair, not everyone advertises the political activism they do.

You get me for a few more days. But the reason I am vocal about activism is in the hopes others do something. Hell do just 5 calls for something you care about. I feel like **** when there is an issue I care about and do nothing.

Hell even calling your congresspeople is better than 95% of America

write a few letters make a few calls. Do something. It made me feel so much better

he’ll just voting is better than like 40% of America

The taxation of trade routes is in dispute, after all . . . .

In 2016 I went to see Doctor Strange in the movie theaters to help pass the time, then came home. For the next 24 hours I was kind of hoping I had just fallen asleep and was sucked into a distorted mirror world based on the Doctor Strange movie.

I honestly forget about 2020, we were all stuck indoors anyways.

Back in March I submitted a time-off request for the Wednesday-Friday after Election Day, and Veterans Day makes it a long weekend too. I’m so glad I did. I knew if we had to wait for the results, or if Trump won, I’d get very little sleep and have very little focus. I dont know what I’ll do yet. Maybe go to the gym so I am forced to nap and not wake up until hopefully most results are in? I did schedule some self care for that Wednesday and Friday, which will be nice no matter what.
