Andor Andor Season 2 Discussion (Spoliers Allowed)

My guess:

Arc 1: The farm planet/Tie-fighter stealing arc
Arc 2: Ghorman
Arc 3: Unknown
Arc 4: Unknown but the rebels now based on Yavin

I suspect we've seen essentially no footage from arcs 3 or 4 in the trailers (save the shot or two of the Yavin base)

 

when do you think we will get the wedding? I think in first three?

 

I suspect the wedding will be in the first arc and Mothma's escape at the end of the second.

 

Tony Gilroy and Adria Adjora are live now on SW YouTube channel. She is so beautiful and down to earth. She got a tatoo of her character. Gilroy said 'she has a hard road for season 2' . Dang I thought she already went through hell but I guess it's gonna be hell and back.

Great watching Genevieve O'Reilly in that livestream for a bit. She is so great at describing the process of bringing a script to life. And as extraordinary as so many of the performances in season one were, hers exists on a very special, elevated plane.

 

She is simply excellent at playing Mon Mothma.

 

Useless fact:
Genevieve O'Reilly and Richard Dillane (Davo Sculdun) played a dysfunctional married couple in Endeavour where they bounced off each other excellently. I'm looking forward to seeing more of that in season 2 because it was one of the best acted and scripted scenes of season 1, their back and forth.

 

I will be watching all three episodes back to back to back right when they drop. I don’t care how late I have to stay up.

 

Hope Yularen shows up again

 

Krennic vs Yularen, one being the senior boss like Tarkin

 

He was great. That totally sedate personality. His lack of reaction to the briefers and the fear of not knowing what he was thinking about what you’re saying. A unique way to present an imposing authority figure.

 

I had been leaning toward making it last over 12 weeks, but now I'm thinking I'll watch each arc as they drop.
And when all are available, I'll do a one per night re-watch.

 

I now think the woman who grabs Cassian by the jacket lapels at :49 in the trailer is also Bix. It's just that her hairstyle is so different and the shot is so short that she's hard to recognize. The reason I now think this is that I again watched the bootleg footage of the old Celebration trailer and there's a very brief shot of Bix at :15 in a similar or identical outfit (though you can only see her from the shoulders up) in front of what looks to be the same window. It's notable that in the shot from the official trailer, the window they're standing next to is looking out at a totally devastated landscape but it's probably not Ghorman. The architecture is totally different and Cassian has a different haircut. This must be a shot from the 3rd or 4th story arc, probably the 3rd, as Cassian's hair is also different from the Yavin shot/Rogue One.

I assume we'll have a scene where Luthen gets excommunicated from the Cathic Church due to his controversial Ninety-Five Theses, otherwise this won't be historically accurate

 

No, that's Luther. Luthen was the Elf-maiden who stole a Silmaril from the Iron Crown of Morgoth... wait a minute.

The melodic tones are back for this trailer! Feels like we need to kick some oppressive but! It was great with some new lines from Bix and Syril. Also it replayed some previous footage so not too spoilerly. More Moroff!! We are almost there!
