Are they fearing not enough people want to go? I mean I could see that but Japan has also a pretty big Star Wars community so…

 

I think @ChrisLyne nailed it. With this one being in Japan and with people having to travel for it, it's best to announce at least a few solid guest confirmations this early on. Especially with badge sales happening soon.

The other day I was literally thinking of posting about how quiet it's been on Celebration news after that first wave was announced. Supposedly there's going to be a lot of Star Wars news coming out of D23 this weekend, so I imagine after that there will be a more steady stream of news for Celebration that isn't too far from now.

I imagine without VIP tickets it will be almost impossible to get in? I suppose they will be showing some early screening of Season2? I NEED TO GET IN what do I have to do ehehe

Rosario appearing makes me hope for an Ahsoka season 2 panel, or at least some hint about what the seasons will be about.

 

Eman Esfandi just shaved his beard fully so I was wondering if they are shooting something? He seemed to like it so I was wondering if he had to shave for that ehehe

 

I believe they start filming in April but hopefully they get a few days off for SWC (and hopefully it’s just enough time to film even a short teaser like Mando & Grogu got at D23).

Like Obi Anne says, it will almost certainly be lottery. But if they use the arena then that thing is massive so hopefully it will be better odds this time (obviously this depends if they do use the arena and the exact set up but I don’t see why they wouldn’t use it).

 

Does anyone know when they release the schedule/program of the celebration?
I need to plan what I do in these days as my husband REFUSES to attend the celebration for more than one day ehehe ( my Han SOlo HATES SW...and all SCi-Fi... well too bad for him) .. he will be left to fend by himself in Tokyo the other two days but I would really like to plan a bit....I am a planner, my ADHD flares up if I don't plan enough ehehe

 

Oscar Isaac, could this mean Daisy Ridley and John Boyega down the line? I can hope.

Hayden and Tiya announced. Official Pix has someone saying it’s the final announcement but I find that hard to believe.

 

Assuming they don't pull the old "one more wave because you asked for it", I think this is the smallest guest list since Japan 2008.

 

Sad news. I wonder if they will replace his panel or just have a longer gap on the Galaxy Stage that day.
