An appropriate comparison, since the word "canon" in its modern sense was borrowed from the older religious meaning, where it referred to the corpus of Biblical texts that were literally Holy Writ.

Each of the four gospels do tell slightly different stories from different perspectives and emphasis.

I really like that the reason Grievous coughs in ROTS is because Mace Windu broke his neck its a very good connection i also like the battle of Obi Wan and Durge or Shaak Ti and Grievous this show is still amazing

Richard McGonagle is the voice that I hear when reading stories involving Kit Fisto or General Grievous, former for his charismatic tone and the latter being a cold machine of destruction. Outside of him, Daran Norris as Durge and Mundi remains a personal voice that I hear when reading as well.

I always saw this series as Canon it can even fit with TCW if you think that season 1 happens before TCW and season 2 after TCW season 6

I agree. Rewatching it now..as I often do and it's like Lucas and Filoni had regard for it as they made choices in later projects to leave space for it to exist alongside...both clone wars and episode 3....like how they shift Ashoka away from the main action towards the end of the clone wars .mandolore etc to explain her abscence
