GM- Simply for clarification, I will be handling all IK story lines hence forth, because Sinre is pretty swamped. So I'll work towards having an update for all who have posted later today or tomorrow.

    Carry on.

Marasiah nodded gratefully at Master Pachrias. She had suspected that the other apprentices were not devoting their full abilities to the fight. She knew she simply wasn't that skilled--yet.

Turning to Ganner, Sia smiled and addressed him: "I appreciate your loyalty, but part of protecting me is teaching me to defend myself. As well, if you don't, it will be--"

She was cut off as a bolt from one of the training remotes shot into her left shoulder blade. Her armor deflected the blast, but it startled her back into fighting mode. "Oops," she commented sheepishly. Setting her jaw, she tried to focus on the remotes now, to sense when they'd turn their attention on her. They didn't seem too intent on taking her out at the moment, so she glanced cautiously over to Aya. The other did not seem to notice Sia. Striking at her is most certainly the quickest way to end this training session... But it is also the hardest challenge I can face here. Deflecting one more bolt from the training remote, Marasiah moved tenatively towards Aya, hoping her progress would not be noted by anyone other than Master Pachrias. There, she was almost within striking distance--only the remotes were increasing their intensity now. She was forced to slash her blue blade to her left, leaving the side Aya faced ungaurded. Pivoting on her left foot, she moved in a full circle, dropping her right foot behind her and putting all her momentum into stabbing her blade at Aya.

"I don't rightly know." Captain Ulysses said, between orders to ready his ship for action. A rather effective procedure, she recognized. But something was wrong about it . . .

Kiras face could not hide her concern. Where is this fleet? Have they given up the planet?
No. Master Skywalker had explained to her in detail the importance of Borosk to the war. Underlining the necessity to take it as quickly as possible.

"No . . . " She said in a soft voice. But her eyes commanded attention.
"We can´t do that." A sigh of resignation left her and she turned completly to Captain Ulysses. "This planet is defenseless. A single Battleship could give the alliance air superiority. And save millions of lifes otherwise wasted, if we can force the System to surrender. What ever I saw, we must find a way to react it, without unveiling our presence here . . . otherwise our operation would be nothing else but a warning to the Empire." She turned around, facing the corellian Mayor. She had wondered why he had come on board anyway. Then it struck her with sudden realization. Staying in the here and now . . . I was so blind . . . The force could have strange ways to guide a Jedi. But it made perfect sense.

"Collect as much sensor data as possible, Captain. I think there might be another way to serve the force and our war . . .! We need to let Master Skywalker know, that this planet is undefended in space. He should take a fleet here as soon as possible. Collect data on ground defence and start spotting weak points. The Jedi and the Alliance will have to act fast."

She sounded almost like speaking to herself. But something in the force seemed to guide her into this direction. It is the right way, isn´t it?

"Mayor Sejon, isn´t it?" Turning around, she adressed the Corellian. "You are a ground-trooper, if I am correct. Any experience in infiltration or covert operations? Especially stealth and detention-breaking would be useful. Because we will sneak into an imperial stronghold." she said. Her voice gained confidence. Only a short hint of regret showed, before it got dedicated, calm and serious again. It is happening again, Kira . . . You go to war . . . again!

IC: Captain Felix Ulysses & the Crew of the Astral Queen; Borosk System

Felix weighed the options. His crew slowed and watched him and the Jedi, as he pondered his next course of action. The Jedi was right, this system, given it was not a trap, was sitting fowl for an Alliance take over. They could slip in some distance from where ever the main emplacements were and set up an advanced recon position before the main assault. Of course, if the Imperials had a fleet behind the planet, they were all well and truly fraked.

"You're right," said Felix. "A direct orbital strike would have this place crawling with Imperials. We'll wait till the sensor data is in and make our next move." Kira nodded and then turned to the Corellian. Felix turned back to his crew and picked up the intraphone.

"All decks, continue with your orders. Lower deck, we maybe preparing to enter the atmosphere. Not sure at this point, but ensure everything is locked for reentry. We are at Battle Stations.

Outside the Jensaari Temple, Suarbi, Quence Sector

"Indeed, they are quite tasty," Kye'El quickly retorted, "though I doubt you could bring harm to my fine creatures." he added but Raven paid no mind because she knew that remarks like that comes from under estimating an opponent. Little did Kye'El know that Raven was quite knowledgeable on the beasts and has tangled with a few in the past.

"Yes tasty indeed" she thought to herself while licking her lips almost seductively as she was remembering an incident with one about a couple of years ago in where she killed it. Though the beast was a fierce hunter, Raven was able to get the upper hand and slice the legs off with her lightsaber.

She had to admit that Kye'El's Vornskrs were in very fit condition and he trained them well. She allowed her thoughts to sway back and forth, as her irritation finally dissipated.

"No harm at all..." He said with a hint of amusement.

Raven smiled wryly at him as her thoughts came back, but instead of continuing on with the taunting something caught her attention. The sound of something moving in the forest.

"Cadus, Kh'tah!" yelled Kye'El as the Vornskrs bolted out into the forest. Ravens eyes came to a sharp awareness as she watched the beasts leave.

There was a sound of struggle, which grew louder when Cadus brought his victim into the light. 'Let me go you mangy mutt!' cried the voice of a surprisingly small man, perhaps only a meter in height. 'Holy Sith Spit! I didn't know you guys were here, I swear!'

Raven walked toward the small man on to the ground. She lifted her black boot on to the little man and pressed down on his chest. She looked down at him and stared in his eyes.

"Looks like you have some explaining to do little man" She said with a tone that would be considered very seductive if the situation was different. Her icey blue eyes sparkled with amusement as she continued to interogate him.

"Are friend here" she motioned toward Cadus, who still had the leg of the man in his mouth and looked as if he was waiting an order from his master to what to do next.

Raven continued on "Is a bit hungry and well.....heh..heh....lets just say you can be easily fed to him if you do not answer my question."

She was still smiling with her usual sly grin, as she continued to pressed her boot harder on to the mans chest, waiting for his reply.

    IC: Tenk Qatar
    Kiffu, Spaceport

"We'll need to take charge or we can't secure this landing. Tenk, Kai, we must draw the Kiffu into combat to prevent them from wading into our troops."

Tenk had paused in his shooting and looked down at the comlink that was hooked to the collar of his robes for easy access. His blaster rifle being shouldered next to the small pack of explosives that Tenk had decided to bring, the Jedi Knight now used his free hand to key the comlink, his saber hand still being used to deflect blaster bolts. Usually Tenk would carry a bit of a larger bag with a bit more explosives, but this wasn't much of a sabotage mission and there was no need to have an exceptionally large pack of explosives that have the possibility of detonating if hit by a blaster bolt. Still, the Knight had a few surprises that can produce quite a bang if needed.

"As ordered," Tenk replied to Alister before he nodded towards his platoon sergeant to carry out the manuever that the other Jedi was proposing. Though all three Jedi were of the same rank, Tenk had no problems following the order. While the Alliance forces look like they have an advantage against the mercenary force, there was nothing wrong with incorporating a bit of strategy to make sure that it was the enemy's troops that got the worst of the engagement and the Alliance got the least of the casualties. And with the maneuver that Alister was proposing, it should lower the Alliance casualties quite a bit.

Not bothering to return his blaster rifle to his hand, Tenk instead filled the palm of his right hand with his other lightsaber. At the same time Tenk felt...invigorated. For a moment he thought the sudden feeling came from the fact that combat had been joined, but he brushed that off. Not only was that not a Jedi-like feeling, Tenk felt the presence of the other Knight, Kai, nearly everywhere, and he knew that that presence was what causing the sudden invigoration that Tenk, and no doubt everyone else, was feeling...though the effect may be opposite for the mercenaries.

Despite the invigoration though, Tenk's senses seemed diminished as he went back to searching for the Force using Kiffu. With the battle now joined and the pain and extinguishing of lives that was going on, it was becoming difficult for Tenk's mediocre senses to shift a bit to the sudden change. The Jedi Knight wasn't sure if he had killed the Kiffu that he had been shooting at, having a hard time trying to find the Kiffu by eyesight and the Force again as Alister's instructions had distracted him.

He wasn't sure if one of the two Kiffu that Tenk laid his eyes on was the one he had been shooting at, but they were going to do anyway. Tapping into the Force, Tenk stretched out and sent a nudge through the Force towards the two Kiffu and if they happened to notice the nudge and look at Tenk's direction, they would've found the Jedi waving his normal-lengthed blade waving them towards himself.

    IC: Darth Nihl

"Anything?" the Nagai asked Darth Verrick. But before the Sith could respond to Nihl's inquiry, a slight shifting sound beyond the camp perimiter surfaced. Nihl immediately brought his hand behind his back and closed it around the long lightsaber cane that was holstered on his back, listening for any other sounds emitting from a source that currently could not be seen by the naked eye.

"Cadus, Kh'tah!" Kye'El called. The Vornskr bolted accross the camp, and into the thick of the wood. There was a sound of struggle, which grew louder when Cadus broght his victim into the light. Sure they could be unpleasant at times, but Nihl knew that when the Vornskr were ordered, they got the job done.

"Let me go you mangy mutt!" cried the voice of a surprisingly small man, perhaps only a meter in height. "Holy Sith Spit! I didn't know you guys were here, I swear!"

Nihl blinked his eyes, and removed his hand from the cane. He watched Raven, a Sith that he'd been attracted to for a good while not just for her aesthetically pleasing appearance, but her merciless and sinister demeanor as well, walked towards the small man on to the ground. She lifted her black boot on to the little man and pressed down on his chest. Nihl continued to watch as she looked down at the intruder and stared into his eyes.

"Looks like you have some explaining to do, little man," she said with a tone that would be considered very seductive if the situation was different. "Our friend here," she motioned towards Cadus, who still had the leg of the man in his mouth and looked as if he was awaiting an order from his master to what to do next, "is a bit hungry and well.....heh..heh....lets just say you can be easily fed to him if you do not answer my question."

Nihl already knew the answer to the question. The man was likely out looking for some food to feed his family, a wife and two children as it usually were. He wanted to slice the man in half then and there, but he would wait it out, and see if Raven thought the same way he did.

"I suspect pain will be your difficulty, child," said the Sith standing before Cale Wyn.

The human apprentice gave the superior Sith a look that could kill. "I am no child!" he snarled. He had been in the Sith Order for nine years; his power has grown beyond anything he could have possibly imagined, and yet, the Sith within the order had not recognized him as anything more than an apprentice. "And I have gone through more pain than you might be aware of." He looked at Darth Maleval one last time before flipping his hood over his head and entering the room before him.

As he entered, Cale saw two beings with whom he had seen only a few times before. "Where is he, anyhow?" asked the Dark Lord known as Plo Wanderguard.

"Right here," Cale announced, a bit of annoyance in his voice, drawing the attention of both Plo and Darth Maladi. He bowed slightly to the pair, but cut it short. "What is this about?" He did not refrain from keeping the displeasure from his voice or his face.

"Ah, yes Major, I was just discussing that with Knight Romar here. Originally, we were scouting this planet for defenses as a preparation for an Alliance siege. Now, it seems her.. Mind wave thing, has allowed her to detect someone of great importance on the surface. I believe we will be attempting in infiltrate the fortress." Tahnan grinned in anticipation. Finally some real fighting! He?d been stuck on recon and analysis for too long. The Jedi, Romar he supposed, turned to him and spoke.

"Major Sejon, isn´t it? You are a ground-trooper, if I am correct. Any experience in infiltration or covert operations? Especially stealth and detention-breaking would be useful. Because we will sneak into an imperial stronghold."

Tahnan nodded and shrugged. ?Yea, I?m a ground-pounder for the most part, I have had some experience in space combat but mostly ground. I?ve infiltrated a few bases here and there, ran a small commando squad back when I was a Captain. Give me a aerial picture and layout of the base and defenses and I?ll see what I can come up with.? Tahnan thought for a second and turned towards Felix. ?I need to know exactly how many troops will be coming with us on this raid, and I?ll need to know what kind of gear I have to work with. Weapons, armor, demolitions, and anything else.? He grinned once again. This was going to be fun!

"Sad truth is, Major, for the first period once we hit the ground, you're looking at the army. Unless we are instructed not to proceed. We have weapons on board, but nothing of Alliance make. Mostly Wolatarian, 11.3mm and such projectile. Light anti-armor and a few cases of plastic explosives. Of course, we also have the 37mm flak rounds. Each one has the power of about two grand in base explosives, we can use them to assemble IEDs and this vessel can act as fire support. However, there is no way we're going to be knocking on their front door. It will have to be taking a forward landing site and awaiting reinforcements. In about ninety seconds, we should have a display of what we are facing."

Aya sighed as she listened to Master Pachrias. Of course the Master was right about everything and in theory it sounds easy, but reality was different.
It was easy to learn the moves, at least she didn't have any problems with it. Sadly it was a different matter of using exactly that in combat.
In addition to Aya just didn't know, how to deal with the Princess.
She is the princess of the Empire after all, what will happen if one of us accidently hurt her? Aya knows, she shouldn't worry about it, but she couldn't help herself.

Suddenly one of the training remotes shot her in the back. Stop dreaming, Aya! she thought angry with herself Pay attention to your surroundings! she takes a deep breath, opened herself to the force and was just in time to intercept Marasiah's blade, who tried to stab her in her unguarded left side. But she lost her balance because of this move and landed hard on her back. She quickly roll away from Marasiah, while cursing herself silently for being such a fool and came back to her feet.

A training remote decided it was time to annoy her a even more, but Aya was able to deflect the blaster bolt this time. Her back hurt, but she tried to surpress the pain.

She decided the Princess was serious about learning how to fight and, even if it was selfishly, she didn't want to make herself a complete fool.
So she attacked the Princess without further hesitation. She aimed for the Princess' right arm to disarm her.

Kira Romar, on board of the Astral Queen ? Borosk-System

Kira nodded to Mayor Tahnan in acknowldgment. Exactly the man I will need down there . . .
While Captain Ulysses and the Mayor considered the military aspects of the mission she withdrew from both. Opening her once again to the force, with the same frustrating result. A hint of danger and something wrong, but she couldn´t identify it. There is still something I have overseen. Something is happening here. She turned to the viewport and looked down on the undefended planet. Without it´s fleet it seemed not like a military target at all. But if the force didn´t showed her a way to escape the danger that awaited her there she had to trust in the fact, that she would have to face it. Again she turned to both officers.

?Explosives won´t be needed and this is not going to be a raid, if we can avoid it becoming one.? Her voice was calm, now. In perfect control. She gave herself to the force and concentrated to the task at hand. ?I want to sneak in, raising as little attention as possible. Get the prisoner and leave without them even knowing we were there. When they find out, we are on our way to a rendez-vous with Astral Queen and they have no fleet to pursue us.? She saw both men trying to say something, but with a warm smile and a raised hand she asked for one more moment. ?Shuttle-security is usually navy buisiness. So we can expect them to have a less efficient security on that one, while their fleet is gone. Captain Ulysses, find an outpost or anything comparable that has direct ground to ground shuttle-connection to the imperial stronghold. Develop a plan to capture one of their shuttles and jam their communication. Mayor, you recruit a small strike team from our crew. Stealthy, silent and, just in case, deadly. We might have to handle some guards. I want these things to happen as silent as possible.? She gave a sigh of relief. And finally turned to the planet itself, staring at the viewscreen with glassy eyes.
?As soon as you have brought us in, you leave the atmosphere, Captain Ulysses and send your sensor-data and a personal message of mine to the Jedi-Grandmaster on Coruscant and the Council on Ossus. Then you wait for our signal and rendez-vous with our strike team. Hopefully we will get of planet without any problems and meet the attack-fleet that will must certainly be on it´s way.? She nodded to both men, pouring confidence into the force. ?As weakened as Borosk is, they will await a full-scale attack, not an infiltration. Let´s hope we will catch them by surprise.? Her hand layed on her lightsaber. An odd habit, she wasn´t even aware of. But an skilled observer would recognize this everytime, she was forced to deal with military matters. Let´s hope we can make this work . . . ?I´ll record the message in my quarters. If there aren´t any questions I would say, that we all have little time for a lot of work to do . . . and may the force be with us?
All the regret she had shown since this travel began, all the doubt that had been obvious even for someone not feeling it in the force was gone, now. From one moment to the next. In it´s place something hard and resolute had taken over. The young, blonde woman in her brown robes standing among the crew of the Astral Queen was a definitivly a warrior, preparing to strike . . .

Kreassk, outside the Jedi Temple on Coruscant

Kreassk was pleased with himself. Despite the rather distracting flow in the force from the curious onlookers as they drilled with their lightsabers Kreassk had performed it as well as if it had been done in the privacy of the Jedi temple.

He and several other as-yet-unassigned padawans, including Master Skywalker's own son Cade, had dazzled the growing crowd and so when they deactivated their lightsabers they applauded appreciatively. Then Master Skywalker had begun an obviously prepared speech about the increasing war with the Second Empire. Kreassk listened attentively. He had not heard such candor from Master Skywalker in detailing so much about the war.

It was just too bad that it was not for his ears but the crowd's. He felt a ripple of anger about being used in such a fashion, but that was easily controlled with a brief Jedi breathing technique. One thing he was excelling at was suppressing such little frustrations that would set a typical Dosha on edge.

Then Jedi Knight Ratep Sentarin began to lead the group back to the temple discussing the planned operations on Bogden then Tariswith Master Skywalker. Kreassk liked Master Sentarin he had been a most informative lightsaber instructor at the temple. He was quite skilled and quite cunning, though known even among the Padawans to be rather aggressive.

"Master Skywalker, you know," Sentarion said in a humorous tone, "I think a Pellaeon would look good in the Jedi fleet. If you want to take one or two, just give the word and I'll assemble a team to make it so. Just a few Jedi, a platoon of marines... we'd get one, intact, too!"

    Kreassk nodded. Aggressive indeed.

IC: Kol Skywalker, Antechamber of the Jedi Temple, Coruscant

Kol watched as the Masters approached. One, a vigorous looking man younger than himself, with short black hair and a white-flecked beard, spoke. The man was Ratep Sentarin, and somehow the Jedi robes he wore seemed unnatural on him. Ratep usually wore civillian clothes, but Kol had wanted all the Jedi present to dress as such, and Ratep had understood the gesture of solidarity, the unity Kol had sought to portray this day.

"Master Skywalker, you know," the Jedi said, smirking, "I think a Pellaeon would look good in the Jedi fleet. If you want to take one or two, just give the word and I'll assemble a team to make it so. Just a few Jedi, a platoon of marines... we'd get one. Intact, too!"

Kol snorted and raised an eyebrow, a slight smile creeping across his face. Master Sentarin often tried to keep things light, knowing how heavily the war was weighing on Kol. Kol appreciated it, but sometimes wondered if Ratep's flippancy towards combat wouldn't be his undoing. He was reckless. He enjoyed combat. Vaapad was extremely dangerous, and until he could be confident that Ratep was capable of continuing on as a Jedi and not falling to the dark side, Kol couldn't in good conscience assign Ratep a padawan. Of course, Vapaad was also extremely effective. After surveying some battlefield footage of Sentarin from some of the early skirmishes of the war, Kol remembered joking grimly that it was a fear of losing too many Imperial Knights to Sentarin's blade that kept the Emperor from committing them to battle.

"First you're asking me to let you assemble a team to take a star destroyer" Kol replied, clapping Master Sentarin on the shoulder, still smiling, "next you'll be asking me to let you take Bastion by yourself. I think you could do it, of course, I just don't want to give you all the glory."

    Imperial Knight Antares Draco

    Imperial Palace, Bastion

Antares observed the gathered Moffs with a calm persona expected of an Imperial Knight serving the Emperor. He knew his master suspected some of them conspiring against the throne but was not sure which ones. But it did not matter when those plans cannot be kept from the Emperor and his Knights for long. Eventually the traitors would be rooted out and quietly dealt with.

The Imperial Knight silently listened to the instructions his master was giving him and gave a firm nod of confirmation and respect. Nothing needed to be said, both men knew that the assignment was accepted without protest or question. Antares would gladly go to Kiffu to extract one of his fellow Knights. It meant he could get out of the Palace and get involved in the war... somewhat. Until his master, the Emperor, allowed them to get directly involved, he would have to be mindful of who his enemies were and which ones he was allowed to preemptively engage.

So he had to go to Kiffu and find Master Tonacrry and get him off world without engaging the Alliance and its Jedi. Not an easy task, that was for certain. He knew by the time he got to Kiffu the battle would be almost over if not already finished. Hopefully Tonacrry would have gone underground and holed up somewhere until the Emperor could send help. The hard part, Antares knew, was getting onto the planet and then finding the lost Imperial Knight.

It is going to be a busy week, he concluded.

    IC: Sou Jin (Coronet, Corellia

Sou Jin tried to listen to talk, but his focus was with the stupid security forces. His temper was about explode into something that might rival a storm. Sou was hidding behind a large dome, that was situated by a wall, that just cracked, from blaster fire. "I am going to put their heads on pikes, if this keeps up", he said to no one.

"CorSec amazes me, some days, in its stupidity." Sou Jin just had to grin in that statment, and shook his head. "Time will come when they all will just give up and surrender, you know?" It was almost surprising that they could hear each other, with all of the blaster fire. "Though, those cameras are the one's going to kill us, not the blaster fire." Sou Jin tried to take peek from his hiding spot, and was rewarded with more blaster fire and a grenade. It rolled more towards him and stopped, then opened up. Then his fellow sith spoke, but unworried, "Are you planning to do something with that, grenade, Sou Jin?"

Sou Jin looked at it, and smiled, "Sure", with that comment he gathered the force and hurlded, it towards the security forces, but more into the sky, and yelled to the forces, with the power of a gaint magaphone, "Stop, and put down your weapons, or else!" Then he ducked back and down for more protection from the coming blast, that should cuase more problems for the security, than him and his fellows.

OOC: BobaMatt, remember, Ratep is just a Knight, not a Master!

IC: Ratep Sentarin, Antechamber of the Jedi Temple, Coruscant

"First you're asking me to let you assemble a team to take a star destroyer," Kol replied, clapping Ratep on the shoulder, still smiling, "next you'll be asking me to let you take Bastion by yourself. I think you could do it, of course, I just don't want to give you all the glory."

"I didn't say just me doing it," Ratep replied, smiling at Master Skywalker. "Of course you're welcome to lead the way! I think several Jedi would look good on the bridge. We wouldn't know what the heck to do on there, but I think we could convince the captain of the vessel to be our chauffeur." A sly smile came across his face. "As for Bastion, well, I'm not that crazy at the moment."

Ratep shifted uneasily in his robe. He couldn't remember the last time he wore it, usually letting it lonesomely exist in the back of his closet. How the hell do the rest of them fight in these, he wondered to himself. They're much too constricting for effective combat. A ridiculous tradition, but necessary for the equally ridiculous political show we just put on. He glanced about his fellow Jedi, knowing most of the Padawans by name as he had given them many lessons in lightsaber combat in the standard forms (and never daring to show them Vaapad). His gaze lingered a bit longer on the Trandoshan, Kreassk, whose fighting skills had impressed Ratep the most. Of course he never said this to any of the Padawans or to any other Jedi. He was training them, not making them compete against each other. Most of the Padawans would not care for his opinions anyway seeing how harsh and strict he ran his lessons. The Trandoshan, though, caught Ratep's attention not just because of his saber skills but also because he could sense hints of anger arising out of him in ways that reminded Ratep of himself.

Ratep finished his glancing, making sure that none of accompanying Jedi would listen too closely to what he was to say next.

He began to speak more quietly and seriously to Master Skywalker. "Grandmaster, you know that as a Knight under your command that I would attack Bastion and drag that fool emperor here and throw him at your feet. But I must ask: Why have you kept me here on Coruscant? You know that my place of most usefulness is on the battlefield. I have given the Padawans here lesson after lesson in saber combat, and I know that that is an important duty but their masters are equally capable in giving such lessons. Are we going to attack Taris, or was that just a political distraction to cover our forces' current battles?" Ratep stopped himself for a moment, not knowing how to proceed. He did not want to appear to be whining or to seem too brash to Master Skywalker, but he feared that it was too late.

"Grandmaster," Ratep whispered, his voice increasing in tension, "there are Sith are out there. I can offer little evidence of this, just my suspicion. Where have the Jedis that have simply 'disappeared' gone to, the ones that we know that didn't join the Imperial Knights, the ones filled with such hatred? How do we explain the mysterious deaths of Masters and the vanishing of their pupils? Is it not obvious? We must act. Send me along with some other members and we'll become a hunting party that will seek the galaxy for the Sith. We will be feared by them and forbid them from recreating the past." Ratep HAD to face Sith. He was tired of taking on stormtrooper after stormtrooper, mercenary after mercenary. Forget the petty Imperial Knights, the traitors. He wanted a real challenge. He knew that it was his purpose in life to eliminate the Sith, wherever they were.

    IC: Bosa Nejeco

As Bosa turns his fighter to survey the battle he senses some of his pilots in distress. He opens himself to the Force in order to sense wich pilot in his Noga-ta Squadron, named after the historic Jedi, was the one in trouble. Finally locking on to the pilot in distress, he heads towards Noga-ta 8, who is being tailed by a couple of Predators. Hissing to himself as he comes up behinds the enemy ship, he pours fire into the rear of his target while his wingman does the same to the other Predator. The ships break off of the assault on Noga-ta 8 when their sheild were enveloped by laser fire. One of them breaks into the mid point between the two streams and erupts into fire as the barrage punctures his sheilds and hits his fuesalge. As the ship explodes a shot hits his rear sheilds. Sensing someone with experience he looks back to see the classic ball cockpit that signifies that the pilot pursueing him was the squadron leader. Reinforcing his rear sheilds Bosa tries to meanuver out of the crosshairs of the leader, only to find the pilot obnoxously staying on his tail. Hissing as he thought about how the squadron leader would look standing on his tail, he looks for a squadmate that could get this pesky devil to go somewhere beside being behind him.

Aya fell, and Sia felt a burst of confidence. She followed up her stab with a slash, but Aya had already rolled out of her range. Moving closer, Marasiah went to press the attack, only to find herself put on the defense as Aya slashed for her arm.

Oh, now she decides to listen to Pachrias? What very bad timing.

Sia jerked backwards, trying to bring her saber around to protect her arm from the slash. The remotes seemed to have some sort of battle plan now, as the one pestering her took this moment to shoot at her left. While she normally wouldn't speak to an inatamite object, Sia favored the remote with a Cheunh curse she had picked up from one of her Chiss stormtrooper guards.

She simply wasn't good enough to handle both tasks at once. The bolt from the remote hit her left arm in a place not fully protected by her armor. She stumbled backwards, caught off guard, and fell, shutting off her lightsaber before she had the chance to impale herself.

OOC: I dreamed about this RP last night. Not, like, in the universe of the RP, but rather I dreamed of reading posts here on the message board. Weird.

IC: Kol Skywalker, Jedi Temple, Coruscant

Kol held Ratep's gaze, his teeth clenched behind pursed lips, his eyes hard. He drew in on himself, making himself unreadable, as he did not want Master Sentarin or the other Jedi present to sense his growing frustration. Of course, sensing him cutting off his presence and obscuring his emotions probably said a lot about how he was feeling, anyway. There was so much anger in Sentarin. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to...

With two deep breaths, Kol was once again calm, and he allowed his presence to flood back into the Force, flowing from the core of his being. He allowed his expression to soften a bit. He blinked. All he could say was, "Master Sentarin, I'd like you to meet me in the Council Chamber after I speak to the assembled Knights here. I have to talk to you."

With a twitch of his eyebrows, Kol dismissed Sentarin, and the Jedi, chewing his lip, took a deep breath and rejoined the small group behind him. The murmur died down, and the Jedi looked expectantly at the Grand Master. Someone cleared their throat. Kol's green eyes scanned them slowly. He wasn't usually much for lecturing, but this would be his second today.

"Masters," he began, "the memory of a galaxy ruled by the Empire tastes more sour in our mouths, as Jedi, than in anyone else's. It sends a shiver through the Force. I'm sure all of you would rather be out there turning back the Empire's blasterfire than sparring with younglings and attending classes here at home, deep in Alliance space. Fear not. You'll have your chance. Even as I speak to you the influence of the Imperial Mission is crumbling, and worlds are rising up alongside our troops. Missionaries and Imperial Knights are evacuating as it becomes clearer they cannot hold worlds like Kiffu and Makem Te. Our ships have have left the Perlemian aflame. The Alliance is allowing peace, justice, and balance to proliferate among the stars. Flashbacks of Endor are plaguing the Emperor and his Moffs and I say to you, Knights," Kol's face became savagely intense, and he paused for a beat, gathering gravitas, "'Yub. Yub.'"

The assembled Jedi laughed. A few cheered and whooped. One in the middle of the crowd let loose a piercing whistle that rang from the Temple's walls. Encouraged by this reception, Kol held up a hand for silence, and continued. "But there is also the siege of Borosk, our gateway to Bastion. Our attempts to keep our operations there secret may be on the road to failure. We knew that Bastion would eventually notice Borosk's lack of communication, but we had anticipated taking the planet before then. Unfortunately our forces have been delayed, and the sabotage we had to do to Borosk's holonet in order to cut the world off has made it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively. The Empire will throw everything it has at Borosk to make sure they keep it, and the Supreme Commander does not believe he can afford to gather enough ships to reinforce the position and repulse the Empire if and when it jumps those already committed. Borosk was a gamble. The die are cast. We can only hope, now, and wait. The situation there makes our next move all the more important." He paused again, feeling the expectation and curiosity of the assembled masters fill the room.

"You are here," he went on, "in full Jedi apparel, to distract Imperial eyes from Ossus. I have sent Master Tuum there to chair a Conclave, a war council. They will decide who will go with the newly formed Twelfth Fleet, around the Outer Rim to the back door of the Empire. The Second Fleet is preparing itself in orbit over Ithor. I will go with the Fifth to begin the counter-attack at Bogden. From there, we will move to Taris, where we will be met by the Second and the Twelfth," Kol's eyes found Master Sentarin, and stayed on him, "You assembled masters will be accompanying me. Taris is a world not unlike Coruscant, and
