Baylor and SDSU downed tonight. May be the first real changes in the top 5 in quite some time, although neither should drop far. KU playing well and building expectations, just in time to **** the bed in March.
edit: gonzaga wrecked. baylor should retain top spot with loss.
And yet this season of all seasons, you still have the gall to post the Duke crying kid.
Badgers win on the road vs Michican't was huge tonight.
jackson state team manager thomas "snacks" lee, getting into the action in the season finale:
that's from steph curry/john starks territory. love to see it.
Incidentally, this also happens to be the Tar Heels' number of combined wins against Duke for the regular season in both women's and men's basketball this year.
ivy league has cancelled their conference tournament due to covid-19 concerns, regular season champ (yale) goes to ncaa tournament.
Wow things are really ramping up
Absolutely wild. Feel for the seniors who are going out in front of empty stands.
Gonna be real weird to watch too, might be interesting if we hear everything the players/coaches are saying
btw this account is the only reason to twit
Can they relocate the Final Four to an actual basketball arena? Since there is no longer a point to putting it in a giant ass NFL stadium so they can sell more tickets and put the quality of play and health of the players at risk on a temporary floor?
Watch them turn around final four weekend and go "Well, we've think the Coronavirus has peaked" and reverse the fan ban.
carolina picked a good night to **** the bed and end this miserable season
nobody will notice
Patriot League follows the Ivy League and cancelling all spring sports for the remainder of the year:
fully expect the ncaa tournament to be cancelled today.
going to be a massive loss for a lot of people, but the winds shifted last night.
I don't know. I don't see any reason they can't hold it without fans. That isn't really a risk to anyone...
The decision was made before the pandemic announcement, there is still risk to everyone involved (due to travel, hotels, etc.), basically all of the individual conferences are cancelling their tourneys outright because of concern, and the coaches just canceled their own convention happening at the same time in the same city because they're concerned.
This thing has to be canceled.
How many people are even traveling with each team? I honestly don't know. It doesn't seem like that many to me. Maybe I just am ignorant of the scope.
