Mandalorian got 15 noms, I still can't believe it.

 

Watchmen with the casual 26 noms.

It's the best limited series since Band of Brothers, so it totally deserves them all.

 

Which one did you like better, Watchmen or Mandalorian?

 

Watchmen. Not that I didn't love the Mandalorian, I very much did...but Watchmen knocked it out of the park with a story so beautifully and uniquely intertwined with its source material, all the while remaining totally original and poignant and still highly respectful of it.

 

Also, not for nothing, but I'd find it amazingly difficult to see how anyone beats Eddie Murphy in Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his hosting SNL...

 

I’m glad the The Americans actors got noms, Not so glad about BCS actors getting almost totally snubbed.

 

I mean, those are different. Watchmen is a mini-series and Mandalorian is an ongoing series.

They're both very good. But Watchmen is like an all-time great piece of cinema, so there's not really a comparison.

 

Mandalorian was fun but got really repetitive by the end of the season. I agree that Watchmen was far better.

 

No nomination for Rhea Seehorn?

Better Call Saul getting screwed. Rhea Seehorn was ROBBED.

 

Great for the Mandalorian, it deserves, but how the hell hasn't The Expanse gotten any Emmy love in the 4 years its been on. Such a stellar show.

 

Ooof, and I thought The Boys was robbed.

 

Agreed, that show was as well.

I;m just really into The Expanse after finally seeing it. Currently in a rewatch while I read the books

 

Westworld got only one nomination.

 

Today I discovered Westworld was still going.

 

Both Better Call Saul & Westworld got screwed. And while Watchmen was good, it kinda fell apart in the last few episodes becoming cliche and predictable. Still a good miniseries and hope they do a second season somehow as I sure watch. And happy Succession got some major love. It's the best show on TV that nobody talks about replacing Burn Notice in that category.

 

I'ma huge Better Call Saul fan but Mandalorian all the way dangit cuz Star Wars on a Star Wars board. (Although it probably won't win but maybe it will because Game of Thrones made fantasy wins legit) Anyway Vince Gilligan can get his tin easily with El Camino, although I do also love Bad Education and the Kimmy Schimidt movie. But still El Camino, easily.

Watchmen is gonna clean the heck up. And also an easy bet is this



he has movie star cred so bet on this one.

 

Much as as I thought Rachel Evan Wood was amazing right up to that awesome scene at the end, I still would prefer Rhea Seehorn get the Emmy over her (since I believe Regina King is up for best actress in a miniseries right?)

 

Agreed on all. Rhea is consistently brilliant.

And Regina's address of 123 Fake Street deserves recognition.

 

Also, it boggles the mind that the Shark Tank judges count as reality hosts and Nick Cannon doesn't get a nomination for the Masked Singer.

Have you seen that man's entrances? That alone is Emmy worthy compared to the garbage 'Mr. Wonderful' spouts.

Heck, they may be millionaires, but Nick's shoes alone are probably worth more than what they are wearing on that show.
