SWRPF Archive 501st Academy

Beyd nodded. "Yes, sir." He saluted and went to the firing range, sighing and waiting for his superior as he cleaned his E-11 further. The attack on the Jedi Temple was one of the most glorious campaigns of the 501st.

He was glad to be in the presence of a participant of that battle.

 

Vice walked down too Beyd on the firing range. "Alright cadet let's see you hit these five targets that will appear when I start the test, you will the hit head, or high chest, if you don't you fail" Vice started the test. "Begin cadet"

Just before the test began, Beyd set his rifle on full-automatic. Then the test began.

He commenced firing, blasting off one target's head and continuing that burst on to sever the head of the next as well, at the shoulders. He hit two more targets high on the chest and blasted yet another's head away.

Safetying the slightly-smoking rifle, he turned smartly to Vice and snapped a salute, bringing the rifle to his shoulder and about-facing. "Sir, done with the test, sir!"

 

"Alright now part two. I want you to hit three targets with two shots. The targets will slide along those rails" Vice pointed out to the firing range were a long rail streched out, three targets would move very rapidly back and forth, however they would be perfectly allighned one right behind the other, for about 1 second. "There's your oppertunity cadet, don't blow it"

IC: Yar'ful
Location: student mess hall and grounds

Yar'ful watched as Vice and Beyd talked. He saw Vice tell Beyd tell him to go to the range for more training. He then told Vice, "Well, good job! Teaching the students more. These kind of things can make you raise in rank. I'm acutally going to hold a course training later. I want you to lead this training. First train any that want more, then find the coures on the east edge of the grounds. Hope to see you there." Yar'ful then went up and grabed some food, and walked out of the hall. He walked around the grounds of the academy for a while. He then walk to his office, he had to get some paper work finished.

Berix walked through the academy looking for someone he could speak to, he passed a few older students and kept going until he came into the messhall, he walked across the large room and asked another student where to find main persons office, Berix walked off after getting directions, after a few moments of walking he arrived at the office and knocked

Beyd nodded, unsafetying the rifle and laying it across his arm, ready to fire.

OOc; just so you know, in the final test I call the shots, litterally.

"Begin" Vice watched as beyd tensed the targets lined up and Beyed fired, his first shot tore throught the head of the first target but missed the second. "Come on Cadet!" Vice yelled. "Do you want to be 501st? come on foucus"
Beyd second shotripped through the chests of all three targets. "Nice shot cadet, come on theres more to be done here"

Location: Yar'fuls Office

Yar'ful was sitting at his desk, filling out some papers. He then heard a knock at the door. He yelled out, "Come in!" He saw a student walk in. The student saluted him, and Yar'ful said "SIt down!"

OOC: sorry tacking over your character, but that was what you would have done anyway. it was to make this place go faster!

Berix responded immediatly and sat infront of the Commanding Officer, as it was his first day he didn't want to start any problems so he decided to come here for help "Sir, if your wondering why i am here i have just arrived and i wasn't here to attend the Seminar so i was wondering, where do i go" Berix sat upright trying to at least look presentable and disciplined.

IC: Yar'ful

Yar'ful sat in his chair, and listend to the student. He answered back, "Well to raise to corprol, go to the firing range, and have a teacher give you the test. Any thing else?"

 

IC: Josh (earlier in the mess hall)

Josh was in dream land, he couldn't beleive it, that he was actually in. Now he had to keep passing his tests, so he could get into flight school. He was so out of it, he didn't know that the Admiral had come in and Beyd had returned and they where all eating. When Josh came back from his thoughts the mess hall was almost empty. "Well I guess, I will go and get settled in my room and head over to the landing pad to see if he could get an early start on training in flight school.

Josh, had no problems on convincing the two privates that this room was reserved for "Corprals"(ms) only. After the two had repacked and left, Josh went to work. After a long time and a quick refresher, he felt he was ready for anything. Than he headed for the flight deck looking for anyone that could give him a hand on finding the flight school.

OOC- Let's say I passed or did not pass test okay. We need to get this moving faster.

Beyd moved up beside Josh, looking around at all the starfighters and ships on the flight deck, awed, and could barely keep himself from entering them, they were so sleek and admirable.

 

Vice was slightly impressed, the cadet had passed the test. If Beyd kept it up he would make PFC or maybe corpral.

Josh didn't see Beyd until he was standing there for a few minutes, "Sorry about mess hall, I went on a voyage and didn't get back till everyone was gone." Josh looked a little sheepish. "So where did you go? Ah don't worry about it, I am just giving ya trouble." Josh laughed a little. "I hope, I make it all the way. My parents are afraid I would get myself killed just in training." It was like he was talking to no one, even though Beyd was there. "My parents are just plain moister farmers and would not let me even have a sky hopper till I last year. They were afraid that I would get myself killed or just fly away." Joshed looked at Beyd with a tear in his eye, "You know, if I make something of myself and save enough money, I am going to talk my parents into moving off that dust rock and set them up, so they don't have to work no more. I will show them not only can I do it, but show them that their son can make something of himself." Josh turned back to looking at the Tie fighters and wondered if there was such things as "hope". Then on a spur of a moment, Josh found the hatch release and peared inside.

Beyd nodded as Josh talked and watched him peer inside a hatch of a ship. He bit his lip, feeling guilty.

"I don't think we're supposed to do that, Josh.." he said, looking around and clenching the E-11 that he still wore slung by a strap around his shoulder.

Josh's eyes was huge, he couldn't believe all the stuff that was in a tiny ship, but here it was...the inside of a Tie fighter. Than Beyd spoke, "I don't think we're supposed to do that, Josh.." It was true, he wasn't suppose to be doing this. So he leaned back out and closed the latch and peered around. "So I wonder what is for fun here?" Then he looked at Beyd. "Sorry about that moment into history, it seems I have known you for years. Now, what are you up too. I see that you are still carrying your stuff around, and I have an extra bunk..." Josh winked at the young man. "Well, I would have to go and throw some private off of it." Josh started to laugh at that. He had gave it to the private that was using at the time of the eviction he had given them. Now, it seems he would get to do it again. All of his built up playfulness was finially being cut loose, and it felt great!

"Than if your up to it, maybe we can use the rifle range for some practice. I think passing the first rifle test was begianers(ms) luck. Only thing I have shot was a farming rifle, and it did not have the range or power these have. Or do you have any ideas?" As he waited for Beyd to answer, his eyes almost popped out of his head. "No, it can't be. She must be following me around, cuase there is that female private again." Josh thought to himself, as he shook his head and grinned.

Beyd nodded as Josh spoke and narrowed his eyes, holding up his hand to Josh to signal he'd be right back. Slinging off his E-11, he laid it carefully on his duffel beside the TIE and strode towards the female private.

"Hey, um...Why are you following the Corporal around?" he asked, nodding back to Josh by the TIE fighter.

 

IC: Josh (flight deck)

When Beyd held up his hand and laid his rifle down, Josh thought he just insulted man. Than Beyd made his way towards the woman. "Oh great, I bet he his going to let her know that I have been eyeing her."

the Corporal around?" Josh couldn't catch it all, but he caught the last few words, and Josh could feel the heat come in his cheeks as he blushed. He hoped that she didn't want to come over and want to talk, then he knew he was going to be in trouble. Maybe for harassing her or something. that would all he would need to make this day interesting. Than a thought entered his head and he acted. Josh started to walk over to the two and started to grin.

"Ma'am, is this under age trooper messing with you? If he is, I will take him out back and settle this for you," as he gave Beyd a quick wink, hoping that he would play alone. "Than I could...um...lets say walk you back to your classes", as he smiled.

"Than I could...um...lets say walk you back to your classes", as Josh smiled.

Beyd looked at the woman, who was blushing and, then back at Josh, nodding back to show he understood.

Before Beyd could leave, he wanted to make sure things were set right. He was weird that way. "Ma'am, this here..." as he looked at Beyd. "Is the best shot that any man could have next to him in a fight. I bet he could shoot a rebal from 2 yards away, and still have enough time to hit another one. We both where wondering why it seems you always turn up where ever we are. Well, at least I did." Than Josh stopped cuase he just realized that he really never introduce them. "Sorry about this but I haven't introduce ourselves. This here...," as he put his hand on Beyd's shoulder, "Is Beyd. Like I said, he is one shot that won't miss. Than I am Josh, the crazies one around."

Beyd smiled at the praise and realized that Josh was right. He couldn't wait until they could shoot some Rebels....He smiled at the female cadet as well and picked up his E-11 and duffel. "Think we should go settle into the quarters provided, eh Josh?" he said, feeling uncomfortable in the presence of the woman. He had always been bad around females, too nervous...
