A clue to Asyr Sei'lar's whereabouts!

I was reading through the New Jedi Order Sourcebook; more specifically Traest Kre'fey's entry. I noticed a peculiar sentence when they were describing his history: "Kre'fey's military career began at the prestigious Bothan Martial Academy, where, with the coaxing of an insightful instructor, the young Bothan noble beguan to formulate the opinon that Bothan society was inherehtly flawed, at least in its current incarnation."

It might be a coincidene, but Asyr originally graduated from the Bothan Martial Academy, so she could've pulled some strings to teach their without giving away her true identity to the rest of the Bothan society. Both are also characters written by Stackpole, which makes it more believable. At the least, she's gotten a teacher to believe in her ways.

Thoughts?

 

Last I remember she was working for Booster, or was it Karrde?

 

I was wondering that, too. I always thought that Kre'fey was influenced by Asyr at some point.

NEGTC, and Booster seems to have implanted her back in Bothan society.

 

Haven't got the NEGTC yet. So if Booster implanted her back into society, it's not unreasonable to assume she became an instructor at the academy to help change Bothan society is it?

 

She couldn't return using her name or identity, she was supposed to be dead. Booster hated Fey'lya enough, and probably Bothan society as well, that he would have been more than willing to help her change appearance and identity to get a position at the academy without being recgonized.

 

That would be an interesting switch. By planting a Bothan within their military, she would be an excellent position to influence the minds of at least a few graduates. I like this idea.

 

KansasNavy that quote from the sourcebook paraphrased very closely something from a page of onslaught actually.

 

Maybe. It's been such a long time since I've cracked open Onslaught.

 

I'd always assumed from the first reading of Onslaught that it was Asyr, since Stackpole has a habit of slipping little things like that in there.

 

What page is that on?
