4 more pilots scattered around the galaxy isn't going to amount to a hill of beans if everyone on Crait is wiped out, but TBH, Pablo probably shouldn't have bothered with that explanation when the real fact was the actors weren't available or cast (whichever it was).

 

I wish this were possible, but sadly I don't think it is. I think the doors to the hangar bay were sealed after the explosion, and unless rescue crews later went in to look for survivors, everything would have been completely destroyed when the Raddus hit Snoke's ship at light speed. With the exception of Rose, it doesn't look like any other wounded made it off of Crait.

I was bummed out that she died in that hangar bombing

 

I think there's enough scope for it to be explained away if they really wanted to. We don't see much of Nien Nunb but he's there on the Falcon at the end. We don't even see them getting Rose onto the Falcon. There were enough lapses in continuity of Resistance personnel or people disappearing/reappearing that virtually anyone save the bomber crews, Anodyne/Vigil/Ninka pilots, Ackbar and Holdo could have survived the film.

Would be good to see more of Tallie - either in the Poe comic series before The Last Jedi or the opportunity to come back from the dead in IX or literature set post-TLJ.

 

I don't know I remember seeing the flames engulf Tallie. I don't see how she could have survived. But you're right they could bring her back. It would kind of be a bit unbelievable to me though...

 

Oh yes, Mustache Squadron Leader was the greatest. I love when they manage to make people love these small characters.

She can hang with Ackbar

 

I'll be the first non-PC guy in the thread to say it. I think she's one of the prettiest actresses we've ever had the pleasure of seeing up on screen in Star Wars. She's 24 by the way. We (as in any of us) are allowed to share that we think an actor is beautiful or handsome, right?

 

Oh, awesome! She has her own thread. Great character. She didn’t do a lot, but it was enough to leave an impact. From her few scenes, including that little smirk, we saw what her personality was like, and I loved it. I wish her character had a bigger role, even as one of the leads. Drop Rose and replace her with Tallie.

And I agree 100%. She’s definitely one of the prettiest actresses we’ve had in Star Wars.

 

We didn't actually see her engulfed in flames. Her ship was engulfed in flames. Let's say that her A-wing was blasted right out of the hangar, and the wreckage was picked up by the FO fleet. Naturally they took the pilot in for interrogation, wanting to find out what she knows about Resistance bases and cells, so she's still alive, plotting her escape.

Mock not my headcanon, for it brings me joy.

I dig Tallie. I knew the hanger would explode but I didn't remember seeing her blowing up in the BTS video months ago. I had no idea was going to die because I had just spent three days before TLJ's release playing as her in Battlefront II (it's because of Tallie's I like the interceptor ships now, especially A-Wings.). Suffice to say, I was excited seeing her appear in TLJ...and then Kylo gave me another reason to hate him (for good reason because hating villains is a good thing). I am incredibly glad to have her in Battlefront II because it her death hurt to watch.

As for the actress, I have never seen Hermione Corfielld in anything else before, but I will keep an eye out for another appearance by her. I do agree with @Ender_and_Bean that she is very pretty.

Was Tallie my favorite character in TLJ? Possibly. I do hope to see her make an appearance or two in comics/books one day.

 

I was a bit bummed when she died, too.

To be fair, that didn't seem to matter with Leia.

I was actually bummed Tallie bit it so early. Rain introduced a bunch of side characters, then offed them almost immediately. It was kind of sad to see.

 

I bought this. I need more...

 

I hope they do a Vintage Collection version of Tallie. Or six inch black series.

 

Hell, I hope she gets her own Anthology movie

Or at least a comic series or something. Snap got a trilogy of books dedicated to his backstory. They could easily do the same with more of the pilots in TLJ.

But seriously, a Vintage figure would be awesome. I doubt she will get a Black Series figure. There's always the Topps cards, in which I will be only missing the gold parallel for her. I actually got the print plate card, a one of a kind.
