Star Wars A Jedi Quest - closed game for Guardians of Light training.

Kasumi gave a slight nod as her droid beeped positive that everything was going well. Her ghostly blue eyes looked over at Master Tehanis. "How are the padawans? There is a lot of nervousness surrounding this. Is it because some are returning to try again, or is there something else that I am not aware of? Also,, I am aware that I am a bit of...shall we say,,,and enigma. I am also aware that I make a lot of people......uneasy because of that. I hope that doesn't affect this."

Zdenek looked over at the other padawan and wondered if they were just as nervous as he was about this trip, about not wanting to mess up. He figured that they likely were. He stood up and offered his hand, "I'm Zdenek. Don't know about you but I'm glad I'm not the only newcomer to this place we're going."

He thought for a second and turned to Adalia, as she rose to return to the cockpit; "Don't get me wrong though, I'm even more glad we're not all newcomers here."

Mira entered the cockpit of the ship now dressed in thermal gear prepared to face the insane cold of Illum awaiting them. "Just tell me we won't spend a night in the ice again like last time." She said with a cheeky smile as she glanced at the other two Jedi Masters along for the ride.

Now was the time to get prepared then. Zdenek got up and entered his sleeping quarters. He opened his bag. A pair of trunks, followed b a pair of tights (they had kept him warm on some chilly nights on Ord-Mantell watching the sheep, as his father had told him they would - a little too gleefully at the time, so Zdenek hadn't been sure if he was just setting him up to be a victim of one of his pranks.) He'd found some thermal full length undergarments as well n the Temple and so they were on as well. Two pairs of thick socks and fur-lined boots. "Layers", he thought to himself, "it's all about the layers." 2 vests, one sleeved the other sleeveless. A thin tunic covered by another, thicker over-tunic and then the cloak. A balaclava, a hat and a scarf come bandana. Thick gloves followed by some fur-lined waterproof gloves. He might not move very gracefully but the temperatures he'd read about were eye-watering. He couldn't even fathom what temperatures like that must feel like and he was determined not to find out, quite frankly.

He started toward the lounge area, his bag hoiked over his shoulder, but realised he was sweltering in the well heated ship, so removed his cloak, hat, balaclava and gloves. He returned to the lounge area, still over-heated but actually trying to make the most of that feeling.

Kasumi pointed out the area they were going to land at. It would leave a small hike to the main caves. "I'm thinking there. Flat, a little bit of a shelter for the ship, and then the small hike in. Thoughts?"

As she sat there, Kasumi let her mind wander to her own time, her own journey to find her crystal, build her saber. Then the trials, followed by Order 66, the death of her Master and everything that she knew. Now here she sat, after a long journey, and more time spent with the Force than she ever thought possible.

Wayfinder - landed on Ilum

"Ready to become a popsicle again." Mira muttered to herself as she stood at the bottom of the ramp and the cold dug it`s first claws into her. She was already shivering from the cold wind in her face and wished there was a Force skill to protect against temperatures like this. Yet she had to admit that her clothes did their job, she would have never imagined that the furs and leathers from one of the northern most witch tribes on Dathomir were actually more suited for this climate than the high tech thermal clothes Mira had worn the last time she had been here. "Really need to thank Asajj for them." She said more to herself than anyone else as she waited for the others to join he.
