Just read all your drabbles and loved them pretty much!

    [face_love]

I never could write any, because a lot of text bubbles out of me continuously.

    [face_blush]

I like the character of Phi a lot. Did a certain book inspire you here? "The life of Phi"?

Jade_eyes With those prompts, it was hard not to have a bit of playfulness. LOL I have a feeling you may enjoy this set. [face_mischief]

earlybird-obi-wan Thank you. I enjoy writing children.

AzureAngel2 I'm glad you are enjoying these drabbles, because I'm having fun writing them. Actually, Pi is shortened from Pi-Lippa, the one master Shmi had who treated her kindly. I never heard of "The Life of Pi" until just after I came up with the name for Shmi and Qui-Gon's daughter. [face_laugh]

    Week 15

    70. Wife

Ruwee cleared his throat. “I wanted you all here today because I thought it would be good for us to throw a nice party for our wives. They work so hard for us, it would be nice to turn the tables on them.”

“That’s a great idea, sir,” Darred replied.

“I agree, but why did you invite him?” Anakin indicated Han Solo. “Leia hasn’t married him yet.”

“Like it or not, that will come soon enough.” Ruwee chuckled. “Padme’s already taken to calling him ‘son’.”

Anakin grudgingly conceded the point. “Okay, but then we must hold it at Jinn cabin.”

    71. Mother

“Splendid idea,” Darred approved, “your mother would enjoy that.”

“So, what kind of party will it be,” Han asked wearily. “Not one of those fancy shindigs where we have to dress up like pansies.”

“For once I agree with you.” Anakin suggested, “A casual outdoor picnic so the kids can run and play without worrying about dirtying their clothes.”

“That would be great,” Ruwee approved. “We can hunt some wild nerf to feed the whole clan.”

Han grinned lopsidedly. “Luke’s still pining over Red. Maybe he’ll finally get the nerve to ask her for a date and bring her along.”

    72. Daughter

    Ruwee asked, “Who’s ‘Red’?”

“Mara Jade... one of the most hot-headed Padawans to grace the Order. Luke can’t concentrate on his forms when she’s around.” Anakin shook his head, “If she doesn’t kill him first, she’ll be my daughter-in-law someday.”

“Yeah,” Han’s grin became even broader, “I’ve seen them sparring. She has long flaming-red hair that is alive, the way it swings around when she moves. I don’t know which is more dangerous, her hair or her lightsaber.”

The elder Naberrie chuckled. “I hope Luke brings her then. She’s not likely to kill him off with his whole family around.”

    73. Sister

“My family is having a picnic today. Why don’t you come,” Leia casually asked Mara.

    “Will Luke be there?”

“Well, he is part of the family. Why do you ask?”

The redhead shrugged nonchalantly. “Did he put you up to asking me?”

“No.” Realizing she’d said it too fast, she explained, “He wanted to, but the two of you got into a stupid argument. He doesn’t know I’m inviting you.”

“I’d probably only ruin the picnic by starting another fight with him.”

“That’ll only make things entertaining.” Leia returned Mara’s sly grin. “Come on, it’s better than moping around here.”

    74. Aunt

“Let me help you,” Luke said as he took the heavy bowl from his aunt’s hands.

    “Thanks. You’re my favorite nephew.”

“I’m your only nephew,” he pointed out.

“So you are.” Sola laughed and ruffled his hair.

The young man rolled his eyes as he carried the large bowl of salad to the table that held the rest of the food.

Aunt and nephew both turned to see a hovercycle with a side cart pull into the driveway. “That’s Leia behind Han,” Sola said, “but who’s that on the side?”

“Mara,” Luke answered with excitement and dread in his voice.
