I had a spider crawl into a plate of food of mine once. It was running around the table, then got on the edge of my plate, and when I chased it more it burrowed into the food. I dug that bit out with a spoon and threw it away, then ate the rest, but had a somewhat reduced appetite.

You eat about three spiders a year, anyways.

you should have dumped the glass outside on the grass right after the spider fell in. then maybe it wouldn't have died. then you could have gone and made some more chocolate milk.
