I haven't posted in this thread in a long time but I'd come across this article and thought it was interesting. Dave Filoni collaborated with some artists to create a gallery during Celebration in Japan that featured artwork reminiscent of Studio Ghibli; following up with the Grogu/Sprites short that was featured on Disney Plus last year.



And if anyone tells me that they'd already known that Ahsoka's "wolf fangs" on her cheeks were in homage to San from Princess Mononoke; I don't believe you.
