But game theory last semester was something of a nightmare, and this research class is just... the opposite of a good time. Yep, same line of thought here. I would have been better off taking the science fiction class

 

I'm so glad that I'm not doing maths or physics at Uni. As far as maths goes I'm doing basic stats, which I'll probably drop after this semester, and chemistry.
Maths drives me crazy.

 

I eventually have to do calculus and statistics.
I don't know how I'm going to maintain my GPA with those two. ;_;

 

I just had to do Math 116 and Stats 135.
So glad I am done.

Admiral Volshe Basic stats isn't too bad. I slept through the semester (literally used each class as a napping opportunity) and finished with an A. As far as calculus goes, you have my sincerest condolences.

 

Why's that? Your school has a site? I used it when originally trying to get in.

I have a math problem. I don't pick up as well as I do any other subject. So hopefully, I can get an A, but I'm not entirely sure I can. D:

What foreign languages did people take?

I took Spanish, 3 courses, and got B's all the way through.

 

Yeah, I'd recommend taking CLEP tests for whatever basic courses you don't want to spend four months learning in a classroom setting.

 

Basic Biology killed me.
They wanted to teach us too much and test us over too much.

 

I'm on that same track. I'm honestly lucky to have gotten B's in the first two courses, because I'm extremely lazy with it. I really should start applying myself and trying to actually learn it, considering it's my girlfriend's first language and her entire family speaks it (some exclusively),

Languages I took in HS or university: Latin, French (fluent), Spanish, German. As all the way through.
Languages I learned at least some of, elsewhere: Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, Irish Gaelic, Welsh, Danish. Norwegian, Italian, Old Norse.


I'm totally not a polyglot/language nerd.

College Spanish went smoother than HS Spanish.
I was in a Study group and made a verb/tense chart.
Girlfriend's first language and her family speak it? Ha ha lol.
I had a customer today that spoke some Spanish was was quizzing me in Spanish.

 

My Class both times could have used your help. No joke.

 

Still a better special effects sequence than the plane crash and inner tube skiing in Temple of Doom.

But now you got me feeling bad, that isn't my real 1-2. It was a joke. TPM is probably my third favorite. My second is like a toss-up of ESB and RotS.

The reason I changed my major from geology!
