LOL -- that really sounds like 'Sana for sure. But their mom's right... you have to learn how to cook from the ground up with and without the techie help ;)

Why bother, she says, when all she has to do is build an autochef to do the work for her?

Sounds like a good plan to me!

Though I have to agree with her mother, Sana really does need to learn to cook for herself and it's good she's starting with her favorite foods.

    Great updates

Definitely does at that. And Mom might be right...but that doesn't mean that they necessarily will agree with it.

It might sound like a good plan but cooking is still a good skill to learn and the favourites is a good strategy to try to achieve it. Thanks and on with the next bit...

    Entry # 24

Moisture 'vaporators are broken again, but luckily for me today, that chore isn't mine. So fixing them isn't my problem. Next time they break down though, it will be. But that's not exactly what I'm writing this entry about.

I had another Force vision, I think. This time though, there was no Mirax. Definitely unfortunate but this vision gives me definite hope that maybe some day, I'll actually get to meet her and not on Tatooine! Which means that maybe one day, I'll actually leave this dustbowl behind.

I'm seeing these strange snubfighters and I'm one of the pilots flying them. They aren't Imp TIEs, so I'm pretty sure that I'd be flying with the Rebellion or some independent group no allied with the Imperials. What it all means aside from the fact that I'm staying out of Imperial service (definitely important for all secret Jedi out there), I have no idea. I guess I'll have to wait and see if that's what the future holds for me.

    [hr]

If you want to see exactly how that turns out in the third part of[link=http://boards.theforce.net/the_saga/b10476/29148129/p1] I, Exile[/link]. Again, shameless self-promotion. I'm terrible, I know [face_devil]

    Ooohhh what a vision!

As much as I'd like to see Corran get off Tatooine, I certainly don't want to see him in any danger.

    Great update

Thanks! He will get off Tatooine but that won't be for awhile yet...in this AU it won't happen for about four years. And you know what they say, good things come to those who wait. Though you won't have to wait for the next post...

    Entry # 25

Nothing really happened this week aside from being very bored. Trapped more womprats, shot more womprats. More Jedi training, more cooking lessons and chores. And more boredom. Still taunted as Limey by Fixer and his cronies, who can't seem to ever get a life.

One good thing though about the cooking...I'm apparently fairly good at it. Take that people who say cooking is a useless and unteachable skill!

I'm glad he's not taking Fixer seriously.

Good to hear he's good at cooking. Women love men who can cook! ;)

Speaking as one who can eat like a caveman at times [face_laugh] as in voraciously [face_laugh] cooking is definitely not a useless skill. :) And Fixer and his cronies couldn't "get a life" if it was handed to them on a platter. [face_laugh]

Definitely a good thing there. Yep, I'd love to meet one myself, that's for sure. Not that I can't cook myself though, I would just be kind of nice I think . Thanks for reading!

[color=orangered]Well, good news and bad news today. I believe that Fixer and his buddies will officially never call me Limey ever again. That is the good news. Definitely long over due.

The bad news is that they've come up with something new and it's through no fault of my own or anyone else's once again, except mechanical error. Again.

Same story as before. Different thing with vital fluids blew up this time though. In being the one conned into checking the pressure again in our building efforts, I got covered. Once again, from head to toe. Once again, in engine type goo that I don't want to even contemplate how it came into existence. Again, it was an odd colour. And no, this time it wasn't green, as evidenced by the colour of the lettering of this text. No, this time it was some sort of orangey-red. Lucky me I guess.

Now, I'm being called Orangey. They aren't that creative with their taunts luckily. Makes sure that at least no one outside their circle of idiots will think of calling me that. Though I do have to ask one thing about this whole affair.

    Why me?

    Why me?

    Awwww...poor Corran! [:D] [:D]

You've got to stop getting conned into doing anything for Fixer!

I hope he gets back to his normal skin tone soon.

Will be doing a double update of this tomorrow to catch up with the entries due to technical difficults when I updated Rummaging through Tool Kits. Sorry for any inconveinence.

Definitely, if it were Fixer doing the conning. Remember last time, it was a group effort to build their own ship. So, might not be Fixer so much that's doing the conning there. But yeah, he should soon. After being lime-green, he at least has some experience in getting rid of strange engine goo that he didn't have before.

    Thanks for reading!

Yep, at least there's that. Not that it probably would make Corran feel any better, having to put up with it at all.

Anyways, double-bill this week to make up for the technical difficulties in updating last week that kind of screwed with my computer. I hate that .

    Entry# 27

TECHNICAL ERROR~ ENTRY ERASED. PLEASE SEE DATA PAD MANUAL FOR INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSSIBLE TECHNICAL ERRORS AND SOLUTIONS. IF THAT DOES NOT HELP, PLEASE CONTACT THE NEAREST DEALER IN DATA PADS OR THE NEAREST SUPPLY OUTLET.

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING HALO-DON DATA PADS INCORPORATED, THE NUMBER ONE DATA PAD MANUFACTURER IN THE OUTER RIM!

    [hr]

    Entry # 28

One week and a new data pad later, I'm back. And no longer orange. That was relatively easy to deal with after last time. The only benefit I suppose from being covered by mystery brightly coloured engine goo twice in one year.

As to the data pad issue, perhaps I should explain what happened there. To tell the truth, I'm not quite sure what happened there. I came back from an errand with Dad to smell burning electronics in my room. Upon further investigation, I found out that several of the internal parts had for lack of a better word -melted and started to smoke. Nothing salvageable at all, except for the memory card, which I quickly removed and hid away before we took it to see if the dealer was going to do something about it.

Their answer: Not our problem. Go figure, huh? So we just junked it and got a new one. From a different maker and line.

Hopefully, this one won't 'melt' on me like the last one did.

    [hr]

Anyways, there it is. Though I've gotten a bit curious, does anyone who reads this diary read I, Exile or Rummaging through Tool Kits, too? Or even better, all three? [face_grin]

Fun updates. Talk about yicky customer service. It's your problem all right, when I don't buy from you anymore. :p It's weird how it doesn't register that keeping your customers satisfied will keep them coming back. o_O

    I read Rummaging through Tool Kits. :D I love Sana's adventures. :)

Now he's lost all his prior entries.

Figures the dealer didn't consider it his problem

    Glad he got another datapad.

Yep, sometimes customer service- from either end- can leave a little to be desired. If it isn't a rep not wanting to deal with you, it's a customer demanding impossible or improbable service. Definitely an issue in terms of that. I can think of loads of places I myself don't go anymore because of customer service that's the pits.

    Thanks! Glad you like it!

Very quite and boring. Mom decided to make desert currant jam, made 'Sana and me help when we weren't busy with other stuff. Since this is the first time she's tried to make it, we get to be her unwitting test subjects. Oh joy!

Add to that, Fixer and his cronies- by which I pretty much mean Deak and Windy- have composed a new song commemorating my sliming by engine goo that's 100 % repetitive and 100 % annoying. All they chant is 'Limey, Orangey, Limey, Orangey!' over and over again before breaking into a song about the praises of engine goo and others getting covered by it when you're not. The rest of us have made a pact to avoid them like the Death Seed Plague until they drop it.

Also, note to self: make sure that I realign the focusing crystal in my saber and start the work on making it dual phased.

Maybe you should avoid them forever! They aren't real friends anyway.

Hope being a test subject for his mom's jam wasn't too bad.

Definitely not. Currant jam comes in two types- black or red, though I've never tried either myself. Definitely a sucker for raspberry jam...though fresh raspberries off the bush are even better. Trust me, I've got the scars from their thorns on my arms to prove it! [face_blush]
