Elven_Jedi, rest assured that $20 is the standard price for an autographed promo photo by most Star Wars actors/actresses. (Sometimes having your own item autographed may be $10 only. - However since at Gen Con the Star Wars celebreties will appear through C2 Ventures, all autographs will most likely be $20 since I believe C2 Ventures works with a coupon system, one $20 coupon for one autograph.)
Ms. Allen's attendance had been confirmed before, this was at her official website as well as Gen Con's official site.

I wonder, if Aayla makes Episode III, since she's become such a popular character....if she will die in a mass Jedi slaughter...or if she'll get a personalised death. I dont know if I want her to get a more prodaminant role now. hahaha

Honestly how bad would that suck to see her get run through by a Lightsaber?

Well personally I'd hate to see Aayla perish in Episode III already. However if she does appear in Episode III it is very probable her character will die in the film. (And the character must die sometime as unfortunate as that may sound.)

My hope and desire is that if Aayla should perish in Episode III -or in any later comic story- that her character has a meaningful, personal and glorious death where the character comes full circle and her demise has an impact and made a difference. :)

Yeah, she better have porpose. I think they will, they cant take the mmost popular female Jedi and just kill her with out something gloriouse, or climaticle. I myself would be enthrawled if she lived....but I just dont know.

Check out this cool Episode II wallpaper up at TheForce.net Fan Art Museum - if you look carefully you can see Aayla Secura in the lower right corner (in front of the LAAT/i Gunship talking to a Clonetrooper):

GodofDeath, that's a cool looking WP. I think that shot of Aayla talking to a Clone in front of a Gunship is in the AOTC Mythmaking book...

Looks like Quin may not be the EU character we were hoping would appear in EpIII: Bai Ling (Top Dollar's girl in The Crow) is rumored to appear as Asajj Ventress. Well, I'm also one of the few who love Asaaj so that's cool. ;)

Still hoping Amy can make it to Australia to play Aayla again though! It does seem that she is the only Arena Jedi Survivor that wasn't returning.

Kampilan, cool heads up on the possibility that actress Bai Ling will portray EU character Asajj Ventress in Episode III. (Though would LFL need costume reference material on a character created from Episode I pre-production concept art?)

I too hope that Amy Allen will be recast to portray Aayla Secura in Episode III. :) That would be grand! :D

Starwars.com Hyperspace has now confirmed that Jedi Master Plo Koon will be appearing in Episode III (possibly even with some dialogue lines), again played by Matt Sloan who portrayed the character in Episode II.
This means that now, only days before shooting is to begin, most prominent Jedi and background Jedi who appeared in Episode II have now been confirmed (or denied) to appear in Episode III: Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Yoda, Plo Koon, Ki-Adi Mundi, Stas Allie, Bultar Swan, Shaak Ti, Luminara Undulli, Barriss Offee, Saesee Tinn, Agen Kolar, ... but not Aayla Secura. There has been no word nor reliable rumor about Aayla Secura returning in Episode III (and hence portrayed by Amy Allen).

Unfortunately it's beginning to look like Aayla Secura may not appear in Episode III. :(
(Which seeing how many other Jedi from Episode II are returning is quite disappointing.) Either the character doesn't feature in Episode III (script) or perhaps Ms. Allen who portrayed the character is not available to take up the role again (or may have declined or not been contacted for it).

    Well, one must hope still...

Thats rediculas if she doesnt apear. She obviously one of the, if not the most, popular female Jedi. If Lucas doesnt put her in Ep. III that decition will be right down there with taking the Star Wars CCG from Decipher and granting the rights to Wizards of the Coast. Yeah, I still cant believe that one. Well heres hoping she in it.

Well I dont know what to say I guess temoto isnt putting art up any more. Oh well, Ill send to Yodamike when I get a chance.

GodofDeath, cool fan arts! Dmac has a cute Aayla. That is really strange that most everyone but Aayla is all set to go. Couldn't Amy just film her scenes in sunny California even though she is no longer with ILM? Well, if she needs to be in some Jedi Starfighter scenes, I think those set pieces are only in Australia...

You guys are right that Plo and Aayla are by far the most popular according to the OS poll. I guess Lucas ran out of ideas to put Aayla in or something. Otherwise Aayla would've been one of the first confirmed Jedi to return!

I finally found an Aayla Secura figure at a Target, so I picked it up. Hopefully I'll see Amy Allen at another convention in the future so I can get it signed.

Elven_Jedi, it is true that Aayla's character has significantly gained in popular due to the character's appearance in Episode II - which is due to George Lucas' interest in the character. My comments regarding the possible appearance Episode III are speculation and rest assured I wouldn't give up hope, only that seeing what we have witnessed so far, chances for her appearance in Episode III seem to be growing more slim.

Kampilan, since for Episode II all footage of Aayla was filmed in front of a green screen after principal shooting such could be possible again for Epsiode III. Who knows, those few days of green screen shooting may hold enough footage for George Lucas to include Aayla in Episode III without requiring any new footage to be shot?

YodaJeff, great that you finally got an Aayla Secura action figure! Best of luck in getting it autographed by Ms. Allen, should be a great experience!

Very nice computer-created work from Tales #14! I gotta start figuring out how to use my Photoshop :p
Here's one I found over at the Fan Activity under Fan Art section from JangoFett316:

I love to look at other's fine shading work...

I noticed one Target store in my area that has cleared all thier SW figures section so I hope to see the Aayla and Barriss wave soon. Funny note: I actually saw a TPM Yoda at same section over the weekend! :)

Starwars.com posted a feature news article on Episode III casting, with a fair update of actors/actresses returning or newly cast for characters to appear in Episode III.
Unfortunately no official word yet on the possible appearance of Aayla Secura (as portrayed by Amy Allen) in Epsiode III. :(

Some explanatory news from Starwars.com Hyperspace as to the sporadic news and confirmation of characters (and actors/actresses) that will appear in Episode III is that for some characters their appearance may be cut from the film or the deal for the actor/actress playing the part may not be finalized yet. In many cases the deal with the actor/actress playing the role is finalized but the actor/actress in question may not be at liberty to disclose his/her appearance yet.

This leaves many possible explanations as to why there is no official word yet on Aayla Secura's (as portrayed by Amy Allen) possible appearance in Episode III.

Well, I'll keep my hopes up still. :)
